Age of Conan: Conan Character Featured in Playboy

In this week's Friday Feature on the Age of Conan official site they take a look at Keaira, ruler of Aquilonia, as she evolves from a concept to a character, to getting her picture in Playboy.
Keaira is a close ally of King Conan, and an invaluable source of secret information to the mighty ruler of Aquilonia.
When he saved her from a camp of raiding Vanir invaders in years past, she formed an unbreakable bond of loyalty to the powerful barbarian. Or so it seems. Through the years this bond has grown to become a professional relationship, and she now leads an underground network of spies, thieves and murderers. Don’t be fooled by her voluptuous appearance though, she is as deadly as she is wild in the bedroom. Suffice to say she will go to any length to secure the info she craves and needs, involving both pleasure and unspeakable pain for the poor victims.
Those of you who read Playboy are in for a treat as our own Keaira is one of the featured girls in their December 2007 issue. You’ve also seen her in the CG trailer we released, lurking around the displays, slipping through the shadows to adorn the occasional article on the website, and sidling her way onto posters and other artwork. This Friday, we’ll walk through the process of making Keaira, showing you how a single character goes from concept to reality, and some of the changes she’s undergone along the way.

Not a bad Friday update - I can see the evolution from Dreamfall, but I'd prefer a more "meat and potatoes" follow up to last weeks update than this.
Bring on more Crafting updates please.
This is kind of funny, and yet odd in a way since she is an animation. However I believe it was Playboy that has/had an annual article about sexy Female game characters? It may have been a different mens magazine, I just remember reading about it on various gaming sites.
It is kind of cool that gaming is getting to be such a widespread media that there are articles in many mainstream magazines and other media about them, focusing on the game, story and charcters. Not about the BS about them being bad for kids. Which they can be if a parent doesn't set limits like...no games until all homework is done and then you can only play and hour or two.
Well I didn't mean to write so much, but I can only see the Playboy and other magazines and media articles as a good thing. I hope games become as widespread and diverse as Movies and Music. It is a pretty new media compared to the others that have been around for over a century compared to what, 30 years?
Im at work (Adult Novelty Store) and picked up December playboy as soon as I read about this, and let me tell ya...even tho its game porn.......wowza

She is one hot pixel :} Congratz to the team of artists that concieved her. You guys are true artists!
haha the "bottom Half" if she was an airplane im sure you would want to get to her black box.
But its a nice render imo - whether it was aimed for just for marketing or whatever.

I liked all the links in the post leading off the pictures of development - but as a game update it wasn't that much of a Friday Update imo.

Not bad. I thought the pic of Morenn from The Witcher was better, but then I've seen her prancing around in her non-censored full beauty ingame already, so maybe I have a slight bias.

virtual boobies, and the creepiness they impart aside, they actually did a incredibly good job with the render. The Tabula Rasa one was interesting as well. Probably the most interesting thing to come out of the game, but I digress.
