Has anyone played Ultimate Baseball?

I came across a game recently called Ultimate Baseball. Has anyone heard of it or played it? Should I donwload it? How does it compare to other MMOSGs?

    i play ultimate baseball online. I think its the best online sports game out there. It plays smooth for me, theres usually an admin on about 75% of the time, they have an online league, i recommend trying it out for sure.

    Ive played it for a few years.It has its good and its bad.One of the bad being the rookie server which is horrible,but if you manage to survive and make it to pug,game experiene will be alot better.Yeah theres still bugs(beta game) and after a while It may get repetitive but once your high level enough,you can join competitive leagues and tourney's which are well worth it.

    Thanks for the rec Slicer. Someone else said you can't play as real baseball players, how does that affect the game? I've always played EA titles and played as the Angels, but the rpg concept seems cool. Can you play real teams?

    Well,im not sure what you mean exactly by real teams.Users create the teams(Ie:Storm,Stigma,Bombers,Rotowire,etc..).

    As for team names,Bobby(whos one of the higher up's) has about 2 monthly ventrilo meetings with the community to address any current problems and to talk about the future of the game.In the near future,any teams that have licensed logos/names(Angels,Packers,Lakers,etc) will be temporairly removed as Netamin is attempting to go more mainstream.

    You cant play as real baseball players since well,its a rpg game.You create a player,and level him up the way you want.The game might not appeal to alot now since the bugs and limitations with the current client but sometime next year,UboZ is being released.UboZ will bring in updated graphics and tons of new features like a skill tree to have more skill/position players and allow pitchers the options to create and tweak pitches.
