Since the NDA of Hellgate was lifted a few days ago, we Beta Testers are allowed to post videos and screenshots of this game now. This video shows my cute summoner-babe clearing up a whole dungeon on her own. Well nearly on her own. She´s a summoner and what´s a summoner without summons?

    Sweet video! Game is looking great, about 1000 times better than the demo. Nice of you to show off your equipment as well, some sweet stuff there.

    Love the sound and effects, and that you shot down all destructable things you saw (Yes who can resist.).

    Please make another video with another character class?

    What pets were there? I know the little orange ones are fire elementals,but you have a purple fiery looking blob and something that looks like a frog?And was that some kind of flare grenade you were shooting?
    Was the status bar at the top left of the screen your pets health?It was taking the brunt of the damage,so is that the main tank with the others having a little circular icon below it?

    As far as I know the beta will end this Friday and that Summoner is my only Character. I only got my beta key last week  and I did not have that much time to play. :(

    There wont be a video with another class, but maybe I do another one with my character. :)

    So, to your questions:

    There are two types of summoner pets in the game. One is your "main" pet, where you can only have one at the time and whose health bar you can see. In my case it is the Carnagor, a tank-pet. There are three more. The Witch doctor, a healing-pet, then the Warper and the Reaper. Skilling in this game is like in Diablo 2. You can't undo what you´ve skilled so choose wisely. :)

    And I decided to go with the tank. I dont really know about the other three. Warper seems to be some kind of spellcaster and the Reaper was shown in the official summoner class video. Giant demon with big weapon. :)

    There are skills you can learn for each of your pets. The Carnagor can use Meat-shield and Enrange. Meat-shield roots him and makes all enemies want to hit him. But on the other hand, Carnagor heals itself very fast. So lets say its some kind of emergency skill. :) Enrange (which you can see in my video, if you look closely) lets the Carnagor grow big. And big things hit harder and he can move faster.

    So, the other type of pet.

    As you can see you can have more than one at the time (three fire elementals and one spectral elemental in my case). And you can have different ones of this kind of pet at the same time.

    The fire elementals are the basic damage dealing pets you start with. My weapon does +2 so I can have 3. :)

    They´re nuking fireballs and with some luck burn enemies, which makes them lose 5% health per second.

    The spectral elemental is the purple pet. In its normal form its not bigger than the fire elementals but when it attacks it grows and makes these purple rings of energy floating over the whole screen. Big area effect. :)

    Then theres force, storm and toxic elementals, which I don´t have. Toxic is doing toxic area damage afaik and storm good versus air.

    That "flare granade" is one of my weapons. You can have a bigger weapon (like my toxic machine gun) and a pistol as a summoner. And theses flares are shot by my swarm pistol. They stay there for a few seconds and then explode doing area damage and leave some kind of... welll, insect swarm ot whatever there. You probably have seen these yellow ... insect swarms... somewhere in the video. The swarms are bound to a little area but attack anything thats there. Demons or crates for example. They stay there for a while.

    Okay, you guys requested it and here it is: Another video. :)

    This time I went into the Mind of 314 with some friends and cleared it.

    I won´t give any informtion regarding 314, though. :D

    It´s the funniest instance in the game imho. :)

    I went there with an Engineer and a Blademaster.



    But thats not all. I recorded all the big bosses (3 so far) I met in beta and mixed everything together.

    So this video contains 3 boss fights and party-play.

    Grreat footage, fun to hear you on the voice com too. The eye monsters were seriously cool! And loved the loot from bosses, can't wait to play.

    I moved my site to a new webspace now. The old videos will remain on Filefront, though. But new videos will directly go to my new webspace and therefore can be downloaded much faster than with filefront.
