Hey folks, i'm just downloading EQ2 now and im wondering what server is a nice one to play on. Im in the UK and like to RP casually. Any advice would be welcome, cheers!

Antonia Bayle is the most popular PVE server
- intended for RP too (but not required)

Correct, Antonia Bayle is the most populated server. Crushbone, and Najena are pretty loaded too (They are pure pve servers, though) so your best bet is AB.
hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Just make sure you stay away from the servers with the PvP ruleset
They're filled with horrible acts of despair and grief and.. stuff like that, nothing fun only severe ganking and dread. If you'd ever feel the temptation to try EQ2 PvP then be my guest. But you have been warned!

agreed, it's not designed for pvp.

Splitpaw is filled with jolly people
I can recommend it. It was my first server. The members of Phoenix Knights are a happy bunch 
Some people say that a game isnt better than its community, EQ2 is good and its community is awesome. I can't stress that enough. I almost fell into shock because I'm used to the people in WoW.
