You can get to level 15 in a matter of hours if you stay on course of just doing missions.  Vanguard isn't a game to just run through quickly though, if you've never played it before you'll get lost in the Diplomacy and Crafting, as well as your mad dash to get a mount and so on.  Give it a go, it's worth the time.

it took me about 2 months to get my 2nd character to 50, mind you i knew where to go and etc. Depends on your playtime really..

1-15 prolly like 10 hours max

    15-30 a week or two

    30-50 a month or two

Im not referring to one level in that span rather it would take a month or two to go from 30 to 50 and etc.

    Raid Officer
    Blades of Wrath
    Vanguard

You can get from 1 to 50 and never grind.  There are enough quests to move you through all levels and mix in rest experience and some dungeon crawls you will never need to repetitively kill mobs to grind out exp.

I went from 1 to 50 with my Psionicist that way and there are even more quests available now than went I leveled up.

If you just want to level fast, people say you level at about the same speed in VG as in EQ2 or wow.

You can hit 50 in 5 or so days played.

Ginding (i.e. killing mobs endlessly / gaining experience as efficiently as possible) is obsolete IMO. A good modern MMORPG should engage you and not make you feel like have to grind to get to some better end game. If you feel you need to grind I would say there is something wrong with the game you are playing.

What is happening these days in EQ2 and Vanguard is you level so fast you miss out on a lot of the low level content  and a lot of your quests grey out before you can finish them.

I must be doing something wrong then. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Vanguard, but I can't seem to find enough quests (or atleast ones that I can solo since I find myself doing that alot because of my short times to play, IE an hour here an hour there).  I wish there were more quests to be honest, or atleast more solo content.  Just my opinion.

You can level to 50 pretty fast if you wish to, if you do lots of quest(it's the easiest way), but I have to ask - why do you wish to rush it?

Well, if it took 3 years to get to level three and you were having fun, would it matter?

I'm about as casual as they come and have alt-itis to boot.  In one month I have a level 11 Psionicist and several alts under 10.

Come on in!  The "grind" is fine!

May be time to pack up your bags and hit another continent.  What level are you now and what continent are you currently on?

Lol i dont know what VG your playing there is no way in hell anyone could make it in 5 days even playig 24 hrs a day with full rest xp.

our bone idle guildie who doesnt bother with a RL job and plays 18 hrs a day recently managed 1-50 in 3 weeks but this was his 3rd toon and he was a tank so was getting groups easily enough

    asily enough.

I was playing on I believe Thestra as a halfling Druid. I got to lvl 18 or so and i'm out of things to do. What quests I do have are mostly group. But on a side note I was getting bored with the druid so I made a Roki(sp) Psy and am enjoying it very much at the moment. Maybe Psy can solo a bit easier. Dunno.
