A load of information on all the history of warcraft...wow. I can't think of any other game which you can find books and this deep rich of a background. For those who are still "iffy" on why the hype on WoW, this is just one of the reasons. image

I need to brush up on it. So sice I am bored right now, I will go look into it.

Man, those Night Elves sure are corrupt..

Finally to chapter II. This is awesome. I love Blizzard because they can come together and do this for their fans and keep fans coming back even if they are not playing their game.

Yea it's truely amazing... both the Starcraft and Warcraft storylines are the best storylines of any games to date (Starcraft: best Sci-Fi story, Warcraft: Best fantasy).

It's going to be awesome to finally visit the old battlefields of the past that you've only read about and wish you were there...

    I can't wait! image

I want to explore the Maelstrom, and are those runestone things that the high elves set up going to be in the game?

I've already heard that the path to the Maelstrom (the safe path, not the path where you die with 100 feet waves drowning you) will only be unlocked through a world event (much like how the Dark Portal can be opened) so then we shall see finally what the Maelstrom hides...

And yes, there's already runestone areas in Northern Lorderon (in the Eastern part near Quel Thalas of course) but have yet to serve a purpose (I've only seen it in a screen shot where it was taken over by the Scourge and they have Infernals guarding it).

I don't really mind if the runestones don't do anything, I just like the fact that you can stumble across them. It really helps with immersion.

I would most like to see the new Well of Eternity. And also explore the orc lands of the Dark Portal after reading most of those chapters about the lore. I think it will be great to step foot in a game world and know exactly where you are, what shaped the events leading up to where you are now, and what your trying to accomplish in this game as soon as you create your first charcter.

A nice fresh thing that I could never experience with an MMO ever before. I really hope that beta ends soon so that I can play the final polished game. What would be really strange is if Blizzard forgot that texas was a poart of the U.S. and forgot to ship it here. That would make me laugh so hard I would cry, and then I would cry for real because I would have to order the game from Arkansas or Oklahoma and wait even longer.

Well, the newer wells of eternity were either: Covered with the first world tree, Nordrassil, or destroyed in the scourge of Lordaeron when Arthas sacked the Sunwell. I'm pretty sure that there weren't any others.

Plus the Dark Portal is on the continent of Azeroth, right around Stormguard actually. You won't be able to travel through it for quite some time, until a group of extremely powerful warlocks get around to opening it for that world event.

But i know what you mean... I too am quite looking forward to making my mark in the universe I already know so much about. Blizzard is one of the few companies that surely pays a team of people to sit around and just think about how to make an epic story for a game. Honestly, that'd be an awesome job. Sit around and invent your own worlds and universes all day.

I think the final chapter is where the whole Warcraft universe is right now. As far as being 4 years after the Frozen Throne and such. That certainly isn't the final chapter, is it? I mean, won't Blizzard still create and evolve the Warcraft universe so that people will still stay interested in the series and such?
