Free trial on an Existing Account??

in Ultima Online

Does UO offer this? I just downloaded the 15 day free trial but I cant seem to figure out how to use it on my existing inactive account... (its been inactive for like 4 years)

 

Is there a trial for this...?

    Well I just answered my own question by calling tech support...

    There is no such thing as even a 14 day free trial with an existing account...

    So I guess the complete idiots just think that people that have been away from the game for a few years are going to resub and begin paying immediately without experiencing the changes first.

    SO TRANSACTIONAL... They don't even want to give you 14 days to realize that the game is trash... They want your 1 month sub fee NOW...

    so terrible

    They call it a free TRIAL for a reason. You've played the game. You've TRIED it.

    If you only want to see the changes then you should have no problem starting a new account to see them.

    Wouldn't it be awesome to try every game for free before having to pay for it? I think so.

    I understand a lot of PC games have "demos" or "trials", but your complaining because you can't use your old characters.

    A free trial is a privilege, not a right.

    Okay. I've vented.

    I played the game about 7 years ago and i've been back for 9 months. Some of the changes piss me off but not enough to make the game unenjoyable.

    I loved the game 7-8 years ago and I love it in its current state.

    Hey bolinp78,  They actually did let you play your old account for free until oct 9th.  You were just a lil late.  Im not sure what the guy above me is crying about not letting old accounts try it for free since they did do that.      I guess if you really wanna see what the game is like, try it out with a new account.  If the last time you played was quite a while ago, im sure you'd have to change your skils around yet again anyways.
