Should I play Tabula Rasa?

KazuneKazune Member Posts: 3

I have been playing WoW for a long time and it about bores me to death anymore, so I want something new. And by new I mean not WoW in any way. I'm really interested in this game but I was wondering if anyone could give me some reasons to play (or not). I'm grateful for all info givin'

All I can say to you is TRY IT, they have a 3-day free trial thing going so go to one of TR forums and request a buddy invite(You can request one at the stickied post in this forum also.), and see how you like it.

If you ask me how this game plays, well, it caters to casual gamers the most I think. But it's still a new game so PvP element should grow with time. What I can tell you though is that group battle against enemy AI is friggin darn fun as hell.

Your career path gets specific at level 5, 15, then 30, but it's relatively a breeze to level up to 15, then you can do some real neat stuff, it's mission based but it adds an exploration element to it so it doesn't really feel like a grind at all, you are just too busy having fun. Doing missions gets you most xp, and skill system is given out in points credited as you level up where you can use them on skills you want to improve.

The third-person shooter combat system is very good, it''s actually better than first person perspective in that you can see your character animations and it adds to the sense of being in the environment a lot so for the RPGers out there will not get short-changed in the least bit.

What I like the most about TR is that even though missions are solo-based, you can still group up, and defending/assaulting bases truly gives it a sense of community and you really feel like being in the middle of action.

then hop on if you can stand a bug here and there,

though i didnt find any gamebraking bugs.

This is for sure a nice game to play in groups

solo or maybe 30 mins before work or after dinner.

Even for hours the quests will keep you entertained.

I had to leave Eq2 ..which i do suggest everyone to play as it is a good game..my char just

was not able to solo well in a pvp enviroment and

i have not the time to wait for a group nowadays.

Here i can hop in and have fun right of the bat.*swing* and can pick up a group on the run

    if i feel so
