NC launcher error

I have been playing TR for about a week now, no problems or anything...but today i went to play and when i clicked the icon i got this error message " NC.findlauncherstub has encountered a problem and needs to close" its a windows error so idk what to do i uninstalled the game and deleted all of the  files and re installed 2 times...which is getting really annoying because i did the online client DL so it take a while to install....any ideas anyone have this problem?

    any help?? i have tried everything i can think of nothing is working

    I had a buddy run into the same problem.  His TR worked just fine until he installed Ventrilo 3.0.  He eventually got it working by doing a repair on his .Net framework installation. 

    I believe he just went to Add/Remove Programs and hit change
    emove on Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0.  From that dialog box he selected Repair. 

    Not sure if this will work for you but that solved his problem.  Good Luck!
