This page must be up now for a few months and the jobs still haven't been filled?
I wrote in to that email awhile back asking questions about the positions and never got any reply..
Is some kind of phony stuff or what?? How could these positions not be filled after a few months if they're actually really looking for people.

Well, why don't you go to the official forum and ask there?
Do you realy expect to get an answer here?
I'd guess they only want the best, no offense to you, I guess they saw through yours emails, that you didn't really want a job.

Thats add seems very general. They need more people to handle the beta process.
And i feel a bit sorry for them, i bet they have got one e-mail from every DF fanboi. LOL
Maybe the filled it already and forgot to take down the ads.
Happens in retail and small businesses all the time. That would also explain why they didn't reply to your email.
No it doesn't because if they still have the ad up than they probably still receive emails about it which would remind them that the page is still up.
Another way I know they haven't filled the positions is because in one of the last dev journals it said that they were having a hard time filling the positions..
Well I suppose if you don't bother writing back to people when they inquire about the positions than it would probably be hard to fill them.
Maybe they are just up there to make themselves look good like they are actually hiring people when they really aren't.
I have a hard time believing that they couldn't fill these positions since June if they really wanted to hire people. That's 5 freakin months.
Someone really interested in a job position would probably call them, or go to their studios in person. They probably get flooded with emails from kids,

They picked up the phone for me, kept me on hold for about 25 minutes, and I hung up.
What did you ask/say to them?

Nothing because there isnt anyone to talk to. Theres just some generic voice mailbox thing.
You would like me to call them and say nothing?
I'm not into your childish pranks, maybe 20 years ago, but not now, sorry.

What the hell are you talking about?
"I" called them and didn't say anything because there WASN'T ANYONE TO TALK TO.
It just forwarded the call to some generic recording / voicemail mailbox.
*Hung up*
I sent them an email as well but I honestly do not recall if they wrote me back or not, it was a while back.

sli is getting desperarate
Most likely they are still good for now. If they get someone they are really interested in (like I said good programmers are rare) they hire him. Infact never notice most game companies almost have an ad open for game programmers?
Its like with football. They constantly looking for good new players they can afford. Doesnt mean they hire the first person coming by. It is wierd if they did not reply, this depending on the content of you mai offcourse.
no most likely the page is pure bullshit and they never intend on hiring anyone. The fact that guy never even got a reply to his CV just proves that..
It doesn't take 6 months to fill a programming and Q&A position..
