(Red)-Vlad The Impaler,Mordred

(Green)- King Arthur, Lancelot,Percival,Bedivere, and the rest of the knights

(Blue)-Siegefred and Dietrich

wanted to know if any of these names ring a bell

Actually, all 3 realms in DAOC have substantial lore in them, however I always felt Albion was the most familiar.

You might want to be a little more specific in what you're asking. You said does the name King Arthur sound familiar?

    Why yes, yes it does.

Lol i knew many of them i just was seeing if anyone else knew of these knights

  • CoryDCoryD Member Posts: 20

Articulate mate. You asked about if people knew names, then servers, now the knights themselves? Yes, I would presume that most people who've got into DAoC would know atleast the basic lore behind Uther, Arthur and the knights of the round table.

What did the colors have anything to do with asking if we knew about the knights? That Mordred was actually the green knight and your red server indication has no sense? That Vlad the Impaler was a real individual where-as the others are still a toss up as to whether any of them actually existed aside for the warrior prince of the Welsh Arthur?

No, thats what the colors were in 500 A.D

(Red) - Was Mordred and Vlad

    (Blue) - Siegefred and Dietrich

(Green) - Knights Of The Round Table

  • CoryDCoryD Member Posts: 20

Mordred, aside for not being real, was black and green. His mother was embraced by evil Fay, and she took the "green banner" as a symbol of her unity with the forest.

Vlad Tepes III battle standard was that of the Order of the Dragon. Black, white and Red. His own battle standard representing his house was black and white. Vlad was a member of the Ordo Draconi because of his father Vlad and brother Vlad. Thus his title Dracula, the son of the dragon. HIS standard was not red, only the Order's. Although he did dress in the typical order garb of a red wool shin length coat with a black cape.

As for the knights of the round, they each had their own banner. I don't know where you're getting Knights in 500 A.D. being green thing from. As, well, they never existed. But the books state quite clearly they all had their own standards. Lancelot being the most easily distinguishable as blue and white.

What exactly are you trying to ask/get across?

The colors dont neccesarily hold up. For example, Albion is Red, Hibernia is green
