Hey guys! We're putting in a change today that will remove the "DELETED!" image; when a post is deleted, it'll just be gone.
There are several reasons for this change: first and foremost, we want to proviide a clean forum to our users and there's no reason to make y'all look at lines and lines of red boxes. Second, the "DELETED!" image had a negative connocation of punishment, and that's not our goal. Posts are often deleted on request of the user, if they're outdated, or if they were in response to a post that broke our Rules of Conduct and otherwise not relevant to the thread. I'm also planning to shorten up some of those long buddy-invite threads so new sign-ups are not ignored

Considering that the gaming population is mostly male in their teens to 40s, I doubt that the term "carebear" was created as a neutral label!
