Subscribe to topic - off?

I was just wondering if there is a way to have "subscribe to topic" unchecked instead of it being checked every time.

I always seem to forget about it and then i get 100 emaila the next day about people responding. :)

    In "Your Account Settings"

    select "Alert Settings"

    and set at the top of the page,

    "When you post in our forums, do you want to subscribe to the topic by default?" to "no".
