Anyone ever play Rubies of Eventide?

in Rubies of Eventide

I have found some indications that this game was /is quite well accepted with hard core enthusaists.

 

Have you played this game? Do  you have any comments to make about the controls?  Any suggestions on controls?  I cant leave the tutorial section because the controls are weird.

    yes and no... it's free to play now but i think they take donations to keep the servers up.

    if you like small, indie RPG's that are more rooted in 'old school' style it rocks. If you're wanting a free WoW, look elsewhere.

    I think it deserves more attention than it gets, but that's just my opinion.

    I have played it a while almost  years ago

    it is oldschoolrpg and if you wanna take your time to play a game than you should try this one

    the community is small but verry friendly and helpfull

    I liked the game when I played it, I think I will install it and try it again soon

    I tried this game for a little while. I didn't really enjoy it. But hey, you were asking for opinions. That's mine. I didn't play very long, because I just didn't like the feel of the game. It wasn't my thing. Maybe it'll be yours?

    Honestly, it has the right idea, but its graphics have become dated and the scarcity of people make it a hard sell. I played it for a short time previously, but didn't really get into it because of the above two. Unfortunately I don't think you can expect to see much from it as it seems to be in stasis, running along for the few people who happen to want to keep it going.

    Bans a perma, but so are sigs in necro posts.

    Personally I love the game. I have been an avid player for over 2 years now and am in love with everything about it; the people, the graphics, the amount of stuff that you can actually do and none of its as confusing as say WoW is.  It may not be for everyone, but i have yet to find an online game that is as captivating as RoE is to me.

    Yup thats it fer sure...

     

    The game is about the players who have been there so long there stagnant.

     

    Its small, the crowd is tight, the game is old.

    I played plenty... I played lots... I met a few nice players but the game is just boring.

    Unless yer already level 50 and then its ok I guess... I dunno.

    Id say try it... But I just can't recommend this.
