I have been hearing about vechicles and possible mechs controlled by players. Any of these true?
I hear a AH is going to be implemented, but no ETA on that.

The Auction house should be in the next patch (so next week or so), the PAU's (MEchs for level 40+) should be in around january time (along with Hybrids)

I have seen it a couple times in text but can not find any description of what it is other than it being a new playable race.
I can see vehicles being added, from what i have played so far it seems they built this game from the AutoAssault engine so vehicular combat can easily be implemented, as mechs too. Since they were in-game in AA.
The game engine is nothing to do with AA.... but i can see where you are coming from though
Are we talking about vechicles that shoot as well while were in it?
