Thats odd. Works fine for me. Don't really know what would keep you from accessing it if it has worked before, but feel free to go here http://www.gamershell.com/download_14255.shtml and grab the client. Its a little old but you can just patch it from there.

Bans a perma, but so are sigs in necro posts.

I use charter as my ISP and they don't have and a tracert doesn't go anywhere near their servers. Here's something interesting though, I can connect to the site using a proxy.

    possible dns problems?

ok problem number two, have client 3900 from gamershell. Apparently came out around 2006. I login and it says I need to patch so I hit ok. Then nothing happens. Are you supposed to see a patching screen?

Unless I'm mistaken, you will need to access the main site (eve-online) to create an account and to download the newest patch. I don't think there is any way around it....You might be able to do a search and find a current client or the patch's, but I think you still have to create an account from the main site. It might be different for the trial, I'm not sure about that.

Eve is patched too often, there wont be mirrors of the patches.
You will need access to eve-online.com for the patches

Yea basically there are too many patches each year for a Mirror so note down the build number then go tot he aptches section on the official eve website to locate the aptch you need.

You dont have some sort of "Internet Security Suite", do you?

  • TechcasualtyTechcasualty Member Posts: 14

so you do have one, eh? Deinstall it, then try again. These tools tend to block things even if they arent supposed to do.
