Conan rips off God of War

As reported on Spike TV's Gamehead about THQ's blatant rip-off of GoW (God of War) for Conan xbox360, ps3:
1. 3rd person action style of combat
2. green, red, blue orbs that float toward char to build health
3. button pressing mini games
4. topless females
5. no-sex mini game
6. music score by GoW composer
7. Linda Hunt female sounding narrator
8. magic spells that turn enemies to stone
9. open doors by rapidly pressing button.
not from GoW, the enemy AI that is so dumb even Pres Bush can beat them.

Well... Everything you listed is in at least 1 other game other than GoW. None of that is new or innovative for games and if they rip it off and do a better job than the original, kudos to them. What do you think WoW is? Its not an innovative MMO, it just takes good ideas and makes them better.
Word to the wise here THATS Conan the Singleplayer game NOT AGE OF Conan the MMO.. (yes i watch it too)

So what? This is an MMORPG site. (hence the title mmorpg.com)
I already said however just to add to the topic:
this just proves how much many players actally bother to research any MMO upcomming or not, they see a name and automaticitly think it's correct..
In this case they've seen 'Conan', which yes many call the MMO that at times and yes this Conan is also on the 360 however with only a few a few clicks to THIS site you'll easilly find out that one the game doesn't even look like AoC, it's playing oddly like a console game NOT a MMO and the biggest giverway is that Conan is also for PS3 and Funcom have NEVER said AoC will be on that....
But noooooooooo, they've seen Conan it's for the 360, so it MUST be the same game, so bash away they go...
Basically it's another 'from the people that brought you: WARHAMMER RIPS OFF WARCRAFT!!!' thing.. It's amazing how much disinformation is about when players go off the handle on so little thought

Sorry I didn't bother to research the actual game. I am not that interested in Conan. However, you posted on an MMO site containing the same name as a hyped up and comming MMO. So it is your err that leads to misdirection.
I commented on the game since it is nothing new for one came to take from another. Its just pointless to call them out on that since then you have a lot of calling out to do. Practically every fantasy based MMO has roots that lead to JRR Tolkiens works.
Take a step back from the gaming world and look at the big picture. There are large corporations that take eachothers ideas all the time. Take Coke and Pepsi for example. Sierra Mist and Sprite. Mountain Dew and Mellow Yellow. Lime or lemon flavors. If you can take someone elses idea and improve on it and it puts money in your pocket, you do it.

I mean HS a overhyped PS3 game is pretty much Goddess of War and no Sony fan seemed to care about that/
