if ure a england fan like me then u will surely be saddened by the lack of effort by our team. Everyone is blaming each other for the dismal display in the european championship qualifiers. But to be honest the whole problem arrose when the Football Association promoted Steve McClaren to number 1 after Scolari turned down the job. Wre back to square one and england is in need of a savior to lift them from this dark time.

I think the perfect candidate to reshape england so they can atleast qualify to play for the world cup would be Jose Mourinho who was a class act at chelsea( even though im not a chelsea fan), he knew how to talk to the press, he had charisma and he had the balls to tell players that they were playing shit and drop them when he needed to. Go jose.. if you think that Jose would be a great manager for England please support us on this poll and when the total reaches 100,000 then it will be mailed to both the Football Association chairman Brian Barwick and Jose Mourinho. Thank you for your time and let us all hope that the F.A make the right choice this time and make the people's favourite lead England on the path to the World Cup in South Africa.

yea but there arent decent ones around, most of the good ones have dropped out already, look at Allardyce and Redknapp they both have ruled themselves out. Plus a lot of people saying that theyde like alan Shearer but com on hes never managed a pub team yet.

Oh, crap. I thought the title was for Englund fans. I was so ready to vote yes to another Freddy Krueger movie.
To the OP, although they have had quite a few management problems I think there is one more main factor why the england team is soo shite. The premiership has way to many foreign players which means the English men just can't play right for their team. Look at Gerrard, awesome for Liverpool, won them the CL in 2005 and is the heart of LFC, he plays very well for them, Lampard plays great for chelsea etc. When it comes to them to play for England.....
. They under perform, badly. The only thing is, if they implement a foreign rule, will there be the amazing football by Arsenal, Man U and many other teams of the premiership? Basically in a nutshell, we can have a brilliant English league or a brilliant international team but we can't have both.
We're all Geniuses. Most of us just don't know it.

The FA knows already that Maurinho is the best candidate, and they tried to contact him already.
Problem is that Maurinho wants to manage at club level, it is not interested in a national team.
He wants to manage either in Italy or Spain.
The best candidate for England is Capello.
He won the title with every club he managed (4-5 between AC Milan, Real Madrid, Rome, Juventus) and 1 Champions league.
But what is more important, he said he is interested in the job!!!
And what ruined England is the attitude of those spoiled ridicously paid players, who just need a kick in the ass, and Capello is the right person for that.
