I love maplestory soo much. My main character is currently Level 92 I find the game quite enjoyable and fun . I could care less what bad things people have to say about it. I will still play the game no matter what!
Actually I hate the graphics of runescape. The communication on Runescape also suck. Not to mention the general clicking and non flashyness of Runescape bores me. I hate PvP! Frankly I think Runescape is full of crap. Maplestory FTW!

Maplestory used to be fun. But that game gets so boring. I dont see how fighting the same monsters for hours is called fun. You look like everyone around you unless you have cash shop. And thats how they bring you in. Your cash items go away anyways. Im NOT saying the game is bad. It just depends what you like in a game. The things I liked about it were that it was simple and easy to understand. The thing i did NOT like about it was the level grinding and the community.

I think that it could use some modifications, like pvp would be cool, and 3D would be sweet, but I think that it is very cool,especially when you have no money to play World of Warcraft. Oh and yes I agree, they are ms zombies.
Just out of curiosity, how do you proposers of a "3D" Maplestory think that would work? It's a platformer, ffs. If it becomes 3D, you lose any and all ability to implement the sidescroller-platform element they were going for.

Anyways, first point, Not 3D...I don't even see this as a Disadvantage, as Some people (like me) enjoy playing 2D Games more than 3D games, It's a bit of Nostalgia from The SNES' days, nothin' Wrong with that, IMO.
Full of hackers...in the past few months i've maybe seen 3 hackers, yes, there used to be a CRAPLOAD of 'em Everywhere some months ago, and that time is often refered to as "the Dark Ages" , and i Admit Global MS was one of the worst possible MMORPG's you could play at that time, but times Change, and they fixed it nicely.
They main reason is, IMO, that Nexon/Wizet was too naive, they believed that the Punishment of being banned for 30 Days was harsh enough to make people quit hacking, unfortunately, this was not the case.
Also, they didn't realize that, whenever there's a game, there will ALWAYS be people trying to hack it, if it's either MS, WoW, LOTR, or EVE, there will always be people trying to hack games, they shouldn't have been so tolerant against the few hackers back in the early days of maple, they should've immediately IP-banned them when there where few.
Full with Scammers...jup, the well-known immature part of the Ms-Community strikes again, nothing you can do about it, same as with hackers, there will always be people like this (It's funny though that i met more people trying to scam me in the one week i played RS, then in all the time i play maple, which spans over a Year) thing is that you have to be either very new or very dim to be tricked by the average scammer, mostly very new, as scammers don't seem to try to scam people who are over lvl 50 ( ok, i met one trying to scam me when i was 5x, but he couldn't, keep in mind that Scammers don't dissapear when ur *higher* level, but that they just won't try to scam you anymore)
No PvP...actually, i find this a relief, as you don't have to have a lot of skill to do maximum damage to your opponent, but rather a lot of money, which some just...don't have, instead of PvP battles, people either start KS wars, or just Argue untill one Clearly wins the argument.
Not Realistic...this argument is weak, people play games to have fun, not necessarily to experience most realism, hell, some people even play to ESCAPE reality...if you want superrealism, PvP battles, best 3D ever, no hackers and barely Scammers...go grab your wooden sword and play outside >,>
You either like Maple, or you don't, however, that doesn't automatically make it a Stupid Game, as long as people enjoy it, it succeeds at being a GAME.
Oh, and one more thing, if you started an account just to post on these kinds of topics, to defend your game from being burned down to it's socks w/o any good arguments...

Not realistic enough? Why would you want a realistic game? A realistic game would be like 3 hours of just sitting in a car or doing errands, 6 1/2 hours of school, then you'd go home and play a video game (playing a video game on a video game, that's right) for a few hours, then it would be sleep time for 10 hours. A realistic game wouldn't be a good idea IMO.

It's a pitty MS isn't 3D, that would make it more realistic.
But when they do so, I think the game would get less fun.

Why do you have to be so intellectually dishonest? Of course, no mmorpg is "realistic" but how would you feel if in World of Warcraft, horses ran backwards, a "sword" was long piece of meat you only held in the offhand, a "wolf" was a four-winged bird, when you "run" you actually fly...etc.
There is a certain amount of "realism" or "believability". There is a reason why these game developers go through so much trouble to make sure horses move liked horses do, sound like horses do, or that there is even gravity, swaying trees in the wind, the chirping of birds, etc. Abstract alien landscape? Just fine.
Of course, this has nothing to do with what he is saying. He simply prefers 3D probably for the animations and immersion than to 2D. Plenty of great 2D games. "realism" has nothing to do with it. i think he used the wrong term to describe what he was thinking.

I agree with you for the most parts, especially on your comment for Maple being a 3D game.
Although I believe the majority of the players are immature, and only a handful of the players are good.
And yes, the NX items are overpriced for a game which is free. Wish they would credit us more NX for money, or increase the lifespan of the items.
