The game is getting alot better now than 2 months ago. I am glad I did come back and gave swg another go. I got 9 of my online friends I met from 2003 and did the hologrind with enjoying the game once again. So all is good and enjoying my time back.
On another note..
If the other vets still got a grudge, well we know we cant change that. I come to the point that the disgruntle vets like to debate about a game that they know longer play. They are waiting until they find another mmo to fill their swg fix.
So to debate with them is absolutely pointless, so I put up my blinders finally with these types of players.
I miss pre-NGE...sure. But I've also finally had to stop reading the disgruntled vet forum.
I enjoy the game now. Is it the same? No. Is it fun? Yes. And that's what matters to me most.
I have a great guild and am currently a respected high-council member. New guys are excited and eager to learn. I spend a lot of time teaching how to play the way that we all once did. It's great that keys can be remapped!

As a side note, I'm still pissed about what SOE did over 2 years ago, but I'm pleased so far whenever I ask for in-game help from GMs. They respond quickly!
Are the changes worth coming back to play? Short answer: No.

Pay little attention to these types of users that are from the Disgruntle Veteran Section of this forum. They have nothing better to do then attack a game they no longer play. Unfortunately some Veterans just dont know when to let go and move on. As much time as they waste posting negative remarks about their SWG experience, they could of been doing something more constructive with their time. They should of went with Geico!
Did you play Pre-CU or Pre-NGE? And lose your toon that you spent so much time on?
I don't care what anyone say's vets have the right to bash SWG all they want.
