"hat we're going to do to alleviate this problem is pretty simple - scale it down. Scaling it down will require many sacrifices that you all are probably here for and are expecting (all the prior SWG people especially).
So what are a few of the changes?
- Sandbox status is gone. We're moving to a more stream lined game. - Move to a Leveling System"
i feel with you..
Is eve enough "sandbox" for you, or are you waiting for even more sandbox-stuff? Because there are no sandboxes in developement, and believe me, i searched..
thanks for the feedback. ive been looking at eve for a while, and i did dl the trial but unfortunately my little macbook cant handle it :-(. But soon im gonna sell it and get a pro so i guess ill be waiting a little while

Well, if you're roaming from game to game like me and everyone else, let me help you save some time and money.
Play Eve.
It takes time to get started. So by the time you try all other games, you could be trained up by then.
It's a sandbox. Bonus, it's skillbased.
It's complex and requires lots of reading.
So do yourself a favor and do the free trial. Even though 14 days is peanuts IMHO.
Like I said, it takes awhile to train up good skills. Just read the multiple guides on their forums, you'll know EXACTLY what to do.
Oh and take it easy on us in Rookie Chat .
Eve and saga of ryzome are the seemingly only 2 good sandbox games left on the market i know of.
playing eq2 and two worlds

thanks for the feedback though :-P
Until then, you could start an account and just train skills. Then when you get your new comp, you'll be ready.
