in Asheron's Call 2 : Fallen Kings

First off, let me give you my specs, as that is what im most worried about. That my comp cant handle it.

1.4ghz P4
256mb ram
Geforce 4 MMX 64mg card

Im assuming i wont have a hard time running with the lower graphics settings. Graphics dont mean much to me, as im more interested int he depth of gameplay. Im an ex UO player, and I played 2d a lot, and it was the gameplay that made me play for 3 years. Im also an ex DAOC player, and that game lagged every now and then because of the graphics (In big pvp battles mostly) So while i continue my quest for a good mmorpg to play, I think ill add AC2 to the list below.

    With those computer stats just be prepared to spend time adjusting the settings in game. I hope it runs for you and you enjoy the game, it is a lot of fun.

    Stuff has changed a great deal. Some of the quest write ups are wrong. I got stuck on one quest where you needed bone to make a weapon, quest write up said kill so and so mobs they will drop it. Did it for hours and hours and nothing, finally asked what I'm doing wrong and someone told me I needed to make a butcher knife and butcher vermin after they are dead to get bones.

    256MB of Ram is not a lot for this game. My guess is you are going to run into lag problems, especially around other players and in fellowships. I started this game with 256MB of ram and lag was a big problem until I upgraded to a Gig of ram.

    I just installed on friday. I have a 2.8 chip, 1GB ram, a cable connection, and a 256MB vid card, because I did the download I don't have the hi res files but I'm trying to find them. The game looks awesome on my system running on high and I have had very little lag.

    If your in the US you can get the boxed version at Amazon.com from it's resellers (or whatever you call them) from 12.99 and up.

    If you want it new/new you can buy it from Outpost.com/Frys for 14.99
