I'll start the ball rolling.
Deus ex freakin amazing game (not invisible war that was poop) it has everything for an mmo....extensive background, factions everywhere (templars, luminati, corps to name but a few) an awesome mix n match skill system and lots of yummy weaponry and armour

Dune, War 40K (THQ is developing that one I hear), the world created by the famous cyberpunk author William Gibson in both his books Neuromancer and Count Zero.
I would love to see a Morrowind MMO, also one based on the Riftwar saga. I could keep going but these are the two I would love to see.
Robotech, Transformers (good and proper, not this Age of Armor crap), Fallout (can someone confirm if Fallout3 is an MMO or not?), a decent D&D Forgotten Realms MMO, Wheel of Time and/or Sword of Truth, Serenity/Firefly.
This is going kinda old school, and lord knows we dont need another fantasy game but...
I would like to see a well done Dragonlance MMO.
Thalos Vipav
Star Wars Galaxies: R.I.P.
Serenity/firefly is being worked on supposedly, though I dont know it would make a good MMO. Most of what makes that a awsome show is the characters and the subtle humor. I dont know how that would play over into an MMO.

I would like to see developers create brand new IPs specifically geared towards the unique requirements of a MMOG and stop butchering existing IPs to make them fit the MMOG model. Call me crazy.
Wheel of Time would be good, imagine playing a male mage type class and gradually going mad.
Aye it would be nice to see someone dare to go outside the "Blizzard WoW" modle.
Sheesh!

Hehe, start at 1st gen and work our way up of course. I figure there's YEARS of content there. By the time they get through it all, we should have seen more movies after the Shadow Chronicles (awesome watch if you haven't seen it already!)
Not sure if it counts as an IP per say but i would love to see an MMORTS by Ensemble. Based either of the Age of empires series or the spin off series Age of mythology or hell anything by them i enjoy all their games as long as its an MMORTS ;p
As for IPs i wouldn't mind seeing a mmo based on any of Bernard Cornwells books like for instance the new saxon series, or maybe something even more different like Stonehenge. Since hes my favorite author, it would most likely be a lineir game but thats not a bad thing if done right.
Either that or perhaps a Redwall mmo since I think its a fantastic setting atleast for a kids mmo although theirs no reason they couldnt make an adult mmo based around it with RvR city building etc would be interesting.
BattleTech / MechWarrior would be excellent.
That or Robotech, I need a Mech MMO fix!
Chrono trigger, though it might be better as an action rpg like diablo 2 was.
I'd like to see an MMO based in the world of Stephen King's Dark Tower series.
Star Wars.
But real Star Wars, as we know it and love it.. Wich means Stormtroopers, Darth Vader, Star Destroyers etc... Not some "oh because we feel sooo limited despite that there's a whole galaxy out there, we decide to make Star Wars 4000 years in the past where we name Empire different and give everyone a lightsabre because everyone know(Especially Nancy McIntyre) that Star wArs is all about the glowbat!" excuse for it.
Oh, and by Real Star Wars I also mean a MMO that actually stays in line with the history and lore of said galaxy...
Not some quazi bizarre "we have no idea what we're doing, but we got stormtroopers and glowbats!!" SWG-NGE.
Ofcourse, a Star Wars IP has to be more of a sandbox, since we're not recreating the movies, but offering the chance to "live" in the Star Wars galaxy. To be successfull, it has to offer the player to be amost everything he can be, within the constraints of the lore and history..(So no glowbats for yeh glowbat horny peoples..You can play SWG-NGE for that)
The last of the Trackers
Songs of Fire and Ice is set up to be an MMO already, and I have no idea why the license hasn't been snapped up - awesome book series.
I think the majority of the IP's out there are rather shallow or revolve around a hero too much to become MMORPG's. However, Forgotten Realms and any other DnD IP would be a great setting for a MMORPG. So basically, any IP out there with a deep and well thought out world/universe with no heros that the story centers itself around would be a good IP to make into a MMORPG. If you can't make a difference and be a hero, then why bother.
MMORPG's w/ Max level characters: DAoC, SWG, & WoW
Currently Playing: WAR
Preferred Playstyle: Roleplay/adventurous, in a sandbox game.
Firefly.
Well if there's any series of IPs I would like to see get some coverage in an MMO, one would have to be Snowcrash: specifically the world outside of the Metaverse (the real world / meatspace), only because of the detail the writer put into much of the background surrounding the implosion of the government and the rise of the near cultic corporations seems like something that could turn into a very well done game (only if you followed the world of the story *very rigorously*).

Naruto, there is a lot of depth there to makea very detailed mmo.
Elder scrolls, a good star wars, mass effect would work well online, or any mmos that just had that level of depth and rpg element incorperated into it.
Quotations Those Who make peaceful resolutions impossible, make violent resolutions inevitable. John F. Kennedy

I would not mind an mmo based on White Wolf's World of Darkness. Its quite complex and fun p&p, and it would be nice if other people, not so fond of p&p stuff, could enjoy it to some extent. I heard CPP bought WW. May be their next undertaking will be exactly that ? Im not fan of Eve by a long shot, but its a well known fact that they did a very good job at it and have my respect. So WoD based mmo would rock.
But we can hope.
BOYCOTTING EA / ORIGIN going forward.
I would have to say I would like to see Mass Effect, Elder Scrolls and maybe a racing game (I know they are bad) Need for Speed or maybe Midnight Club.
