Will be signing up, love it

Just played for the first time this weekend on the free trial. I will be signing up as soon as the trial is over, I absolutely love the graphics and combat. The way you can level without noticing is a blast, two thumbs up! I want to start getting into crafting as they have a new system now looks like it could be really fun.

I just tried AC 2 this morning.  I like it so far.  It is still too early to tell whether or not I will scubscribe, but I like what I see so far.  I had one experience with this game a while ago when I beta tested it in the open beta.  Things look improved already in just my first hour of playing.

I love the graphics.  They look almost as good as Star Wars Galaxies.  Animations are pretty good, too.  I am anxious to try out the crafting system, too.

I wasn't sure which was the best server to try because I logged in for the 1st time very early in the morning and all servers had low populations.  Is there a serer that is considered a Roleplaying server?

I heard that there are not too many subscribers to AC 2 and the populations are low in general.  This doesn't bother me as long as the players aren't like they are in Lineage II (unfriendly and nasty).

It's been said that AC 2 is like a beta test for Turbines upcoming mmorpgs.  If that is true, then that's fine, as long as the game works and gameplay isn't interrupted or drastically changed often.  I like games that try new things and are constantly changing.  I plan on playing Everquest II when it is released anyway, so a long term stay in AC 2 is unlikely, unless I find the game to be totally amazing, which is possible . . .

One of the European servers might be an RP server but I know that there are some roleplaying guilds on Frostfell.  Welcome to the game to the original poster.  Be warned - it will slow down once you get into your 30s - but don't be discouraged, everything above the 30s is really fun - and the content for the 50s is awesome. =)

Welcome!  I recently re-subscribed an am having a blast.  At level 25, this game easily has 10 times the storyline as any other mmo I've played...

am i the only one who finds that the landscapes look unfinisehed in the game when you see in the distened you see the good ground changing in a blur and its not my computer. graphics stand on very high so thats why i'm buying the original game ( hige-res files ) and i can only hope the game will look likes the screenshots you see on every ac2-fan site.

the rest in the game looks fine.

actually the changing on the textures probably is because of the amount of ram you have - even if you have a gig.  Ac2 graphics are better than SWG graphics in most areas - not model design though.
