Horde or Alliance???

I have heard u can only play for 1 side horde of alliance, i mean when u have an horde character u can not make another aliance character..

so if u had to chose horde or aliance what would u pick????

What's it like living on top of a mesa filled with cow pies? Excuse me... Tauren pies?

And not all alliance members have 'peach' colored skin... And the ones that don't wouldn't mind too much if you did have your dogs eat the peachy cheeks. They're lower races anyways.

Horde, hands down. I don't want to play a human or three classes that might as well be humans at different heights and skin tones. It takes imagination to play something other than a human. And all those who play the Alliance might as well have no imagination at all. Just kidding.

I am still sticking with the Horde for now, anyways. Just seems like it would be more fun to play the anti-hero and mess up his plans rather than being the 'good guy.' I know the Horde isn't really too evil anymore, but they still look more evil than the Alliance does.

My main character is going to be a Mage, but I still havent decided will he be on the Horde or Alliance side. I want to play a Gnome Mage so that might be my main character, if not Gnome then Undead Mage. But for sure my account wont be all Alliance or just all Horde im going to make a mix.

I have wanted to play a Dark Elf for the longest time...they belong to the alliance so I guess I have no choice. To bad though Because Tauren was another one I wanted to do next...but no mixes on sides...sigh! ::::05::

Man, I thought Horde was going to be the unbalanced race by the start of retail. Maybe a lot of people thought that, too. I'm thinking about defecting to the Alliance for my first character if these numbers don't change a bit.

Oh, I just remembered that today I am officially an elite member. Awesomes...feels good. Har har har!

They better allow us to have characters on both factions. Im not buying 2 accounts cause they are worried some raids will be leaked to the other side. They can do that just as easily with AIM or forums.

Ill prolly play alot of Horde, but Id like to play Humans some and mabey a NE Druid.

In WoW, you can have one account and have one faction per server but play on multiple servers. This means that if you are Horde on one server, you cannot make an Alliance character there. but if you go to a different server, you can create an Alliance character. Make sense? So in a way, it is a lot like DAoC the way they set up the accounts as far as the factions go.

It makes sence. It means that either Blizzard is greedy or they havent discovered the rest of the Internet yet(meaning too protective about this).

If they are worried a battle or raid might get warning from someone with another character, then it would be just as easy to use AIM or MSNM to warn them. They are pretty much making 1 server into 2 different worlds. Alliance and Horde. These people will never talk, hunt, quest, or have social gatherings with each other. That pretty much halves the player base you get to meet. I would hope thered be 3000-5000+ on each server if they are planning on doing this, otherwise it might get lonley or hard to find new people.

If they are worried that people will change characters during a raid if their side is losing, then they could simply add in a feature that only allows one character per account to pariticpate in a raid. OR, they could make a 15min dely between switching faction characters. Meaning you have to log off for 15min before changing sides.

All in all, if my friends are playing different factions one the same server, Ill prolly never see them in game.

If I could only pick one I would go with Alliance. I love Human mage, I love the Dwarf warrior, and I love the Human palladin. What more can I say?

On the other hand I do like the Tauren in general, I'm sure I would play and class that the Tauren have to offer. I also like the trolls, I would get a warrior troll and make him run around stabbing things with his spear. Couldnt get better than that .

Ps-On vacation be back in a week.

Ill most likely be going horde at first, Im thinkin i would like an Undead Priest or Undead Warlock

Although Im really holdin out for the Hunter. Ive always leaned towards archery types in MMO's. My favorite character on both UO and DAOC was an archer.

Well if you can only pick one faction to play Id go with alliance just cuz the only race on the horde side Id consider playing is Undead. But I have interest in playing Dwarf/Human/NightElf on the alliance side so alliance for me. But I hope they allow you to play chars from BOTH factions otherwise that would suck cuz I wanna play an Undead Warrior/Rogue and a Night Elf Hunter.

So I take it no one listened to what I said? At this time, Blizzard will not allow a mix faction on one server. But if you go to a different server, you can create the different facion that you want.

Server 1	Server 2
Horde	Alliance
No Alliance	No Horde

You don't have to buy a different account. So I don't understand why you said Blizzard was greedy. I have no idea why they are doing it this way, but remember, most of blizzard are computer geeks, they know the ins and outs of computers so I am sure they are doing it for a different reason other than Raid leaks.

Yeah i understand, although because the game isn't finished this may still change. Hopefully it will but its not to much of a problem.

Its so hard to just choose a character like that, before i start i know i will spend hours thinking about what character i will have, what class and what sex! Also if your character doesn't have a story line behind him then he really doesn't exist.

Argh i got to think of a name as well. I think i might go with a Human Priest or Paladin. Or a nightelf Druid or Hunter. Decisions decisions.
