Looking for new game

Ok. I quit wow a while back and i just got a new gaming rig that can run anything so im looking for a new mmo. idc what type as long as its fun and worthwhile. Im a hardcore gamer that likes to stick with a game. I dont like to play a mmo for a week then quit, thats why im looking for a game that actually worthwhile. i like fast paced mmo's. I tried getting back into wow but i just cant... its so boring to me after a year and a half. also, idc if i have to pay monthly for a game as long as i can get gamecards or pay with cash for it. im only 16 and dont have a credit card yet and my parents dont use theirs online. I dont care if its a free mmo or a p2p one. I checked out vids on Tabula Rasa and that looked sick cuz its like a sci-fi mmo, but idk if you can pay for the time with cash =



so if anyone has any suggestions let me know here or IM me on xfire. Thanks =)

Life is the best MMORPG. I PKed some noob yesterday and all my PK points are down... but the cops are still after me... WTF?

    These are the 2 im having a hard time choosing from. Hellgate: london or Tabula Rasa. They both look amazing and they are different than any other mmo i've seen. Plus their sci-fi which i love and their not point and click. If anyone plays either of the 2 write down some pro's and con's and ill decide from there. Thanks =)

    Nothing good available atm. I'm having break from MMO games untill AoC or WAR comes. I'm playing Witcher and Crysis now.

    Well, you could definitely give Tabula Rasa a shot, as it is $25 on amazon, and you can buy NCSoft Gamecards for it.

     Honestly I'm in the same spot as you with the whole WoW being soooo boring. But i beta tested Tabula Rasa and Hellgate in the open beta. I really did like Hellgate it was very interesting and a pretty good twist on typical MMOs, you can single play it too that's what i ended up doing. Nothing like WoW at all though i mean neither of them are classic MMOs. No offense to anyone here but i HATED tabula rasa, maybe it was just me. It was kind of interesting at first but i got bored pretty fast. I'm holding out for Warhammer Online hoping that it's even halfway decent, and chronicles of the Spellborn.

    Like you'll hear a lot around here there isn't anything good right now, and I'd have to agree. I mean I'm playing sims 2 to pass the time... ugh

    Umm well technically Hellgate London isent really an mmo and ive never tried Tabula Rasa. Although I bought HGL and I liked it (unlike many others)  you could give it a try. I dident buy guildwars yet but im going to asap and I know guildwars is great.

    DDO if you haven't at least tried the free trial. The lack of large amounts of travel time makes it pretty fast, and combat is as simple or as complex as you want it to be. Not too many MMOs let you do a backflip in order to manually dodge a fireball.

    I've heard Hellgate: London is too repetitive. But, my friend has been playing it pretty much full-time for a few weeks now and still loves it, so YMMV.

    I don't know, TR has been fun so far.  fast paced , you can use cover,  change weapons and reload on the run,   take a few hrs for missions or log in for a few mins , find a shard with low pop. and try and take over the base, mainly runnning bane around till they kill you or you get help and take the cp.

    It isn't for everyone for sure. shallow has been used many times in reviews.  once you get going in the trees with clones there are some pretty good skills in allthe fields. You enter the game and pretty much start into the war. good job making you feel like you're on the front lines. 

    It can get boring I guess and all the other neg things you read. end game, anybodys guess. I think this is one the direction the devs take will play a major role in how well the game does.

    So far I haven't gotten bored as  i did in the lotr, wow type games but to each their own.
