I think you should really give the CoX 14 day trial a whirl. You will probably want to make a villain, because that side is a little more populated, but either side is alright. I played CoX for a few months after I quit WoW and I really liked it. The missions may get a little boring after a while, but with the new enhancement crafting system, superhero bases and the large worlds, there really is a lot to do. All of the quests are instanced, which may turn you off a bit to start with, but it really turns out nice because you can tinker with the difficulty of the missions/instances. (there are I believe 5 difficulty levels) There isn't gear like in WoW, which is actually a nice adjustment after grinding for the stuff for in your case 3 years. The customization of the character and their powers is really neat too, you really feel unique playing the game. I found it a lot more fun to group and do missions and such when I played, but it really doesn't matter one bit if you like solo or group play. Really, give it a try, there are ads for the trial on this website even.

P.S. I quit because my computer is freaking awful and it couldn't run the game very well and it really annoyed me. Your computer won't have troubles.

Having that said, work on your attitude. It stinks and looks a lot like that of a 13 year old found in WoW.

Maybe YOU should roll a night elf, you might feel more comfortable (oh and btw; PWND.)

To the people that actually were helpfull, I'm playing Lotro now and I feel quite at home. Thanks!

You are new here, so I'll give you some more advice to consider before posting again. It's off-topic, but since you have found a game, I consider the case solved, so it shouldn't be any harm in it. Remember, it's not meant to be rude though I realize it's possible you will see it that way.

    - Though WoW is a great financial success, it's also one of the most hated games, you WILL understand that when browsing these forums.

    - If you're only experienced with offline RPGs and WoW, then it's not very smart of you to come to one of the world's largest MMO communities and wave the "i'm a hardcore player" flag repeatedly. There's nothing hardcore with offlines games, it's even easy to cheat, and lots of (most?) players with multi-MMO experience, will never call WoW very hardcore, even if they actually like WoW.

    - There was nothing "PWND" about your reply to implod3d, it was... ehmm.. WoW-ish. Asking him to work on his attitude has no effect when your reply was more rude than his post was.

    - You say you want PvE, and in the same sentense I get the impression that PvP isn't your playstyle. You also say "I really want Age of Conan", and you consider Warhammer. This doesn't add up, and it seems like you are a bit clueless. Less flames against you if you give the impression that you know what you talk about, ok?

Good luck in LOTRO, but you should know that if you wanted something with a lot of contents, you chose the wrong game. No matter how good you may think it is, the end-game stuff is VERY limited.

Btw, WoW isn't 3.5 years, it was 3 years in November...

Sorry if I called myself a hardcore gamer RPG wise, I forgot that this forum includes the biggest no lifers in known history. And that "PWND" was ment to be sarcastic and WoW like...Nice going Sherlock, lol.

To the other game rec.; thanks for your reply, but I'm really enjoying Lotro atm:) I might check the other games out if Lotro bores me, but atm I'm really enjoying this. I'm also a big Tolkien fan so that really helps:)
