Hey everyone! I used to play Wow, but stopped for awhile. Since winter is coming once again I figured I'd start playing again. I used to have a mage and want to try a whole new aspect of the game. I decided to try out a warrior. The game is a tad bit different from when I played. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what spec to go to level. I looked online and Asked a few friends and they all said different specs so I thought I'd get a wider variety of suggestions. Thanks in advance!

When I played a warrior WoW I lvled with Arms. By far the fastest/funnest ways to lvl. If i were you go Fury to 40 then at 40 respec to Arms for Mortal Strke(it is by far my favorite skill in the whole game)
Fury is a great way to level.
However, the best way to level in WoW is by grouping and especially getting into a guild that lieks to do a lot of instances. If you are solo, stick with fury. If you find yourself in a guild, then ask if they need a tank, and spec that way. Do not spec protection unless you get into a guild, cause for PUG you can tank most instances up to TBC as a fury
Good Luck

or you can role feral druid and be uber tank /flex lol
OK, thanks for the input.
I'd go fury until 60, then switch to a hybrid build for tanking in TBC. Maybe a 50/50 prot/arms mix may be good enough to tank most TBC instances. At 70 you will then have at least some experience with all 3 trees, and will be in a good position to decide if you want to go PvP (arms), PvE tank (prot) or PvE DPS (either full fury or arms/fury hybrid).

Ill be honest, My time leveling up a fury warrior was the best time I had in WoW. When TBC came out I had to change to a tank. I did my best and we got far, but my heart wasnt into it and it eventually cause me to leave (see Awned link below).
So, watch out as you go up in fury, it may be so addicting that you will not be able to leave it. stick to what YOU like to play and what makes the game FUN for you. Dont let anyone else dictate it.

Find a comfortable prot spec and level ... it may be a bit slower leveling, but the quest xp and the new increased xp Blizz is giving away will help ya.
If you have intentions of seeing endgame... learn 2 tank.
Hmmmm
I put a little here and a little there... Is that bad? This is my first char on WoW. I am lvl 40. Do I need to focus on one of them?
I came from Ultima Online so the skills/levels/etc are new to me.

I myself am leveling a warrior and he is 46. I'm having a great time, and I always get pretty high in the dps meter. Fury is definitely the way to go for leveling. Not to mention I've tanked some instances and I do quite well considering I'm not specced for tankiing.
Ok, thank you everyone! My warrior is now 22 and I'm going fury spec. It might just be me but 10-20 were very annoying to level... Hopefully the rest goes better. It is pretty fun though, I tanked VC a few times and it went well. That was a lot of fun, being up in the action and all.
