closest thing to FFXI.

in LFGame

im a huge fan of grouping and having great endgame contenet. so whats the closest thing to FFXI out there right now. id prefer if it wasnt pay to play but if my systme can run it il play it. FFXI from what i see has been very orginal compared to most other MMOs ive tryed (EQ2/WoW/Lotro) those 3 especialy werent that great.

any suggestions. PC specs (2g ram/AMDx2 5000+(2.6gz)/windows XP/ cable internet/ 128MB video card(getting a new pny 8600gt OC for christmas)

PS: the newer the better and hopefully the game has a decent enough pop. to have a good amount of grouping.

    i personaly havent found anything really close to this game. its very orginal in the way its setup(it was built ground up for console). id actully like to know myself what game ppl thinks is like this title.

    Hey, somehow i agree with Christatron!

    Yes, you'll never find a better game! And to that, you'll never find a better game that provides bad ass cinematics. The next best i've seen so far is World of Warcraft, however its sad to say that WoW's very first movie will be live action, which will be horrible!!!

    If you find that FFXI draws too much money from your pocket, you could always try out its console version for PS2 or PS3 :D
