Hi all ppl, i''ve got a invatation from PotBS, the confirmed thath i can take part in their beta, i hope you guys wil join me to, gl and hf with it
, so from now on... you can get confirmations and can download the client and etc.

nope, you just needed to klick, taking part of their beta button or somthing on the site..., atm im at my dad's pc, in about 3 hours i think il get met components for my own pc back, 2x 8800GT and SLi mobo pci-e 2x 16x slots, so i can run it on ultra high and crysis on super high ^^, just need to wait for the UPS van.
Lulz crysis, the game sucks beyond the suckness even with an 20k$ pc
I got my betakey yesterday! It has taken almost 24h to update/download the client now

How big is the client ? How much does the install folder take space ? 4gb?
About 7gb I believe, but it went really fast to download. And I live in Sweden, anyone know where they have their servers?

Whats with the need to restart the client every 1-2 hours to continue the download? It's nice to know that if I leave computer downloading over night is almost useless
TBH this game is already failing. An open beta is where MMOs attract their players whether developers like it or not.
So far most people can't even get past the awful patcher, many that do get constant crashing. To put the last nail in the coffin it has an SOE logo on it, which is enough to scare off most online gamers on it's own...
Things really aren't looking good.
Ive had no problems with the patcher over the last 7 months of patching the game. Its never failed me once. Ofcourse im sure there are people out there who have problems with Notepad, let alone a 5GB game update/install. As for constant crashing, ive had 2 crashes in those 7 months. Once again, in every game there will be people who have issues. Some more than others. Just the nature of the technology.

The latest patcher has problems that are affecting new beta players. It isn't the player's lack of tech. It is SOE/FL and all well documented in the PoTBS forums. For example, the patcher will show that the files downloaded when in reality the files don't exist (503 error) at the d/l location.
I finally got all the files by downloading them manually and the game crashes (reboots) my system. Obviously this MMO is in beta, but I have serious doubts as to the quality of their QA process.
I still want to play the game. I'm waiting for the next update and will try again.
Installed the stresstest2 client and patched today it took awhile but it worked at least.
