Scanning PvP

What type of modules or fittings, are used for scanning the local space area for other player ships?

    Recon probe launcher + probes ("Spook" for example)

    Or you could use your build in system scanner

    If you are scanning people out that are not at belts, planets, moons, POS, etc.. then use the lancher + probes as stated above.  However, if you are just scanning for some vulnerable targets then use your onboard scanner:



    1. Scan at 360 degrees

    2. Scan at 180 degrees to cut his direction down to half

    3. Scan at 90 degrees to cut it down half of 180

    4. Scan at 60 degrees to narrow it down farther

    5. Scan specific objects at 15 (or 5) degrees that were in the 60 degree plane in step 4



    This should all take no more then 30 seconds to do (get good and you can do it in 10 sec).
