Pirates of the Burning Sea: Stress Testers Can Join Beta

To make up for confusion caused for some people by File Planet beta keys, the folks at Flying Lab are going to let all Stress Test II key holders into the Pirates of the Burning Sea Beta.

We’ve had several reports of people who experienced some confusion as to the way FP keys work. In order to make up for that, we are inviting everyone with a Stress Test II key to join us as beta testers!

In order to be accepted into the Pirates of the Burning Sea beta, keyholders will need to log into their SOE Station accounts, and then apply their Fileplanet Keys by visiting this link.

Once you’ve submitted your key, you will need to visit this link and follow the instructions to activate your beta account.

    I tried this, didn't work. I was in FP stress test 1 and 2. Tried using both keys at this link, just says the key has already been used and cannot be used again.

    Nice what about those that were in ST1?

     

    Dont think ill bother with this game anymore. Looks like its been SOE'd

    Same problem here.

    I've opened a case about this with customer support but not too hopeful it will solve anything, the first reply was "have you tried logging out and back in?"

    However, the process of linking SOE and PotBS accounts has been made.. ..confusing, to say the least, so I guess the problems have something to do with that. I'll let you guys know if I get any real answers or solutions to the issue.

    I'm actually considering preordering to get a real Beta key and get to test the game so I'll know if I want to play the game :) I like the concept a lot.

    I did get a beta invite in my mail. I think I can't say more than that with the NDA. I'm not sure if it's related to the fileplanet thing or not, but I'm in beta now.
