"As Age of Conan gets ready for launch, the beta for the highly anticipated MMO draws ever larger crowds. More than 10,000 beta players have been invited to the beta, allowing Funcom and Eidos to prepare for a stable, fun and polished MMO experience next spring. The invaluable beta feedback has confirmed the ambitions for the title, with high fun-factor and outstanding immersion cited by beta testers."

So 10k ppl have been invited, awesome, now lets hear feed back on the PvP stress testing when it happens this month or next :)

Maybe all 10k so far haven't actually tested yet, or maybe they expect that many very soon.

    If Avery was in beta he could not tell you he was, as that is against the NDA.

    @The 10k testers invited...

    Do a good job! I want polished bug free AoC come March!

    Its against the Lisence Agreement to even tell someone your in Beta? Kinda odd, but I can understand where they are going. Stupid of me to ask.

    If you are not receiving the Clan of Conan update, you should check and see if you have: newsletters@newsletter.funcom.com added to your address book, this seems to solve the issue for most people.

    It's also the header on all the Clan of Conan updates that are viewable on the web. If you miss the last one, here it is for ya! Enjoy.

    I signed up when the form had first gone up, stil haven't received anything. I am curious though, how many do they plan to invite as I still see the advertisement on front page of mmorpg.com saying "sign up for beta".

    There are going to be several stages of beta, and it sounds like they are doing it in a loop, constantly taking testers out and replacing them with others, so yeah, there will be more invites to come.

    Probably too late but I'll throw in a beta application. Funcom has also not closed the door on an open beta close to launch so hopes are somewhat maintained that I will be able to check it out before end March.

    Yes, because of course leaks are a sure-fire indication of how many people are beta testing a game.

    There have actually been numerous leaks since the beta started, and many of them on these very forums. The moderators and the key guys over at Funcom have just been very quick to act on them; they only have a life-span of a day at the most.

    Sorry, but I don't buy this.

    10,000 beta testers = at least 10 or more leaks, which would include screenshots, videos and comments.  NDA or no NDA, some people just don't give a damn.

    Also, depending on where the information is leaked, there's no way FC could do anything about them,  once they were spread over the internet.

    Everything in my gut, says that the game is not nearly ready as people think it is.  Not enough leaks, not enough game info.   It's just an impression I have.

    Maybe I'm wrong about this.   I HOPE I am.
