Looks like UPS decided to back a truck up over my precious CRT monitor. Time to march into UPS headquarters for payback... But I got that monitor 8 years ago and I don't even know whats good these days.
Heres what I had:
22 inch Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 2060u CRT
What I want:
High end, 85 Htz refresh rate, 21+ inch CRT. Looking to spend like $500 or so.
Any advice? Also, any tips on how to collect the UPS insurance without delay?
Thanks

"UPS, we are better then FedEX and DHL" No advice. There are so little CRT monitors left on the market that the only ones left are of good quality. Also not sure how to collect insurance quicker. Although you will have to pressure them to take care of it and not let them put you through the corporate shuffle. If it takes too long to process they may be able to say they were not at fault. Keep calling is the only advice I can give, or go straight to your local UPS distribution center.
Ah yes, not a lot of options for 20+ inch CRT's these days I see. Well I'm probably going with this one:
Samsung_1100MB_21 CRT
As for UPS; Well I probably could have packed it better, but it looks like they didn't bother to land the plane. Apparently opting instead to just fly low & toss it out.
if you get a check within 90 days...your one of the lucky ones....
Other than that, I think you should get a LCD Flat. 22 Inch for 300ish
I have had this ACER for over a year and its really good IMO.

My brother has this one

So thats my 2 cents...
CRTs cost round a 100 less in money but Flats just give back on the space they save. End game its worth it IMO.
