what is mir 3?? the siege video i saw looked like a stragtey game! is that how the game will be??
in a word, no
it looks like a stratergy game because every1 is on horses and theres catapults and stuff, this is just a castle siege war, which guilds try to control for supremecy, money, respect etc..
each side buys there catapults and balistas or wotever and all the ppl help 2, and u dont have to be in same guild just join in
each player can buy there own horse from lvl 15, and its simply just a quicker way of getting around,
it is a good game and i recommend every1 tries it at least once, even if its only open beta (theres nothing better than a free game!)

Hiya,
Each char. you see (on horse or on foot) is an actuall player behing there pc, I beleve u can hire the weapons for the purpose of attacking the castle to gain control. Seige is just one small part of the game.
The game can be played solo, grouped or hunting with your guild. The community was a huge strong point on Mir2, You could log on just to chat and kick back if you wanted.

It's not free. It isn't a strategy game.

Open Beta will be free till P2P (Pay to Play), After that there will be a trial mode, its not clear if the trial will be to a level or a period of time.
