You cant just go down to the store and buy it. ITs a PRE order. Meaning you need to PRE order it. They dont get tons of them shipped to the store, they get the number PRE ordered and thats it.

You can actually just go down to the store and pick it up. This is a pre-order in the same way that CoH and Liniage II had pre-orders. You spend a little money now that you won't be getting back if you decide not to get the game eventually. All it is really is them rewarding you a little bit for letting them know just about how much inventory they should bring in for the opening shipment. It is something the game companies do to make the retailers happy.
What is showing up in stores this week is not something you had to pre-order, it is just the way in which you pre-order the final game that will be coming out way later.

lol @ everyone, there not giving away jump boots. ok, for some reason gamestop put up on there website that with pre-order you get j-boots, but that wasnt true, and i have no idea where they got that from. Now, if you pre-order u get all that other stuff, plus a key that gets you a in-game item that hasnt been disclosed, but im pretty sure i read somewhere its gonna be a house item. heres the link for the pre-order that at one time stated u got jump boots with it.
Don't no about others, but mine has a key code to put in for Jboots when the site is up and running. This guarantees your jboots for you charater when EQII is released.
The site for all these codes that came with CC disk should be up sometime in August, since the CC disks came out earlier then expected. Got my 2 copies from Gamestop, Texas area.

From what I read you get the bonus disc if they are available where you pre-ordered the game and they only mail it to you if you pre-ordered online and are going to have the game shiped to you. If you pre-ordered at a store and are going to go to the store to pick it up when the game is released then you have to go to that store to pick up your bonus disc in a few weeks (if they have them at that store). I hope this helps.

For all of you that rode the short bus to school let me break it down for you.
I also have my starter kit, hell I went to gamestop WITH gundamit.
1. Pre-Order at any gamestop / ebgames
2. get off your ass and go pick up your starter kit when it comes in.
3. They are not going to mail it to you, if your waitin around for that then you are going to be waiting for some time.
