Don't waste you'r time with this..
haha ive tried just about every game on the list here at MMORPG one more isnt going to hurt. downloading it now!
{ Mod Edit }
i'm going to give it a try at least, since its supposedly much more improved since beta.
Yeah, same, still going to try it if it's terrible or not. Thanks!
Haha... free trial this early into the game... the game has to be hurting for subs.
now if u won the game on the mmorpg game site do you have to pay monthly to play the game
Aye.. And for a very good reason.. download the trail mate..
If you mean the 3 day free trial then no..
Given this and Garriott's comments about having too many beta testers too early which hurt their word-of-mouth buzz, the game sales and/or subscription retention must not be healthy.
Aye.. And for a very good reason.. download the trail mate..
I don't need a 3 day trial... I was one of those Beta testers that ruined the game for RG.
Bit different just 3 days.
One can only image the accountants at NCSoft pulling their hair out as they prepare the company's end of year financial report LOL
But this free trial is a good thing, now we all get to try this game and see who has been telling the TRUTH on these forums about this game. The haters or the fanbois?

Not many are playing these days and those that are, are of the Barrens chat variety. I'm really sad cause the game had a lot of potential, I also find it really suspect that TR got a 8.4 rating.. There are much better MMO's out there that got crap ratings from this site.
This game has potential to be worth downloading for a trial at least but I'm not wasting my time for 3 lousy days! - come on! 2 weeks at LEAST!
DEFINITION OF REALITY: Graphics ok, Sound ok, Gold drops need more work...
Aye.. And for a very good reason.. download the trail mate..

Give it another shot. Like you, I found the beta pretty boring and unfufilling, but I'm having fun now in Live. By no stretch of the imagination am I calling the game perfect or bug-free, but there's a big change from the beta gameplay. I'm not sure it has enough high-end content to hold my attention past 50, but hey, you get 3 days free, might as well check it out

It's only 3 days so you don't have time to realize what a piece of crap you're running into. Another funny thing about Tabula Rasa was all the hype it was getting and then bam, release, nobody talks about it anymore.
By all means... Give it a try. It wont hurt your pocket.
This is exactly why MMOs need to stop offering up widespread betas. Because many people are too stupid to realize that developers generally clean up betas before the release! What you saw when you played in the beta for a whopping two hours does not reflect what the game is like now.
Even with Amazon dropping the price 50%, the RPG category has RGTR not even in the top 25 as of today. The game only got 7 reviews from readers, which is weird. Even some bad reviews mean people are caring and paying attention. Hellgate got lots of negative reviews, and is still selling in Amazon's top ten. If you have a hundred people chiming in at Amazon about how much they hate the game, you've got a best-seller on your hands.
The servers look empty and forlorn. Even the EU one is not as busy as it was. Away from this site, there is very little buzz about the game. If you visit other RGTR fansites, they will be nearly dead compared with this one, which is probably why mmorpg got the privilege of distributing free trials. Maybe this free trial will make the Us servers go past "medium" a little more often--should be an interesting weekend. If servers are still dead--
Auto Assault was released in April of 2006--the first round of layoffs at NcSoft came in June (almost a third of staff),barely two months later. Game went down--was it Sept 2007? NcSoft does not appear to have a tolerance for small niche games like some publishers do.
But this free trial is a good thing, now we all get to try this game and see who has been telling the TRUTH on these forums about this game. The haters or the fanbois?
If you ou go around telling everyone that you're a visionary, legendary, creative, super-star rock-n-roller--then you can't play an instrument , or write a song or even show up on stage--does that make the audience into "haters" when they get mad, jeer their disappointment? Fanbois make their own music that tinkles sweetly between their ears...
Until you spread your wings, you have no idea how far you can walk.
game is fun....for around a hour or so
THREE whole days? They sure are generous! Wonder if they made this game fun yet?
If you mean the 3 day free trial then no..
no i mean i won the full game cd etc in the compiticion here
Didnt even know that Auto Assault went kaboom...how sad. I kind of liked the settings, though didnt enjoy the game too much.
good stuff, wanted to try it
During these 3 days you won't be able to level high enough to hit the problems that come in larger numbers at lvl 20…25+
Starting areas were mostly fixed since release. The non-working crafting won't bother most 3-day-trial players. And missing, unfinished, broken quests, instances and features will not be obvious.
So they might actually get some ppl to buy and play (for a while).
If you check the latest Tabula Rasa interview you will see that the game is still very rough and that fixes for missing content and endgame are going to be implemented (probably pretty slowly) during next year.
If you get fooled into buying the game after 3-day-trial, at least find a place that sells it fow lowered price, like the 50% Amazon already mentioned above.
3 days ROFL, are they serious ?
