I have been playing Guild Wars since beta, and I finnaly stop. Over 3k hours spent in it and I just cant play it any more. I truely loved the game but I can get into it.

Now I am looking for a new game, a game that has meaning.

What I loved about Guild Wars:

Missions - Cant explain it too well.

Grinding - What? There wasnt any real grinding! Missions got you xp.

Armor - Good and bad. Good as in That you can combine and they looked unique. Bad as in not alot.

Graphics - Aint bad, aint awsome. But it got the job done.

Anyone have a game that can for fill most of these need?

Games I allready tried - WoW, EvE

Thanks in Advance

I was in the same boat as you.  I played GW though the 3rd expansion and then grew bored with it and really had nothing to do that I hadn't done 10 times before.  I tried a lot of other games and ended up playing WoW.  I know you said that you tried it and sorry it didn't work out for you.  I now have 3 lvl 70's on WoW and am in the same boat that I was in and the end of GW so I would also like to know which options people give you and also which one you go with.  A game that is a lot like GW in some ways is Lineage II.  i personally didn't like it but that was just me.  It has a lot of GW like features so give it a try and see if you like it.

Damn dude, just finish to 70. 60-70 is easy. Then you can do casual PvP or something and get some nice loot that way.

Hmm I think I know what you guys are looking for but I don't know what to say since I havn't played it in a while. A good game I played was Dungeons & Dragons Online. Now I liked it because it had something where you only got xp on how well you did missions and dungeons. I haven't played GW before because I keep getting funny answers about how the game is but if it has the same concept of DDO but better I might try it out. Now the only thing I didn't like about DDO was it didn't take long to be the highest level as to WoW you can play for months and finally get there. Still it is really fun and has a cool story line to it and it makes you want to be more than just one type of class. Rogues are fun with traps and well lots of strategies with them. I love being a cleric because I can stand in the back and be the last to die but this game makes it to where they have so mage techniques on the. I could go on about it all day but I won't want to bore you so I think you should try it out.

I just tried Dugeons And Dragons (got 2 mb/s :D) and it was ok. The only reason I didnt like it was the interface.  Other then that it was a great game, and more meaning then wow. But I still rather prefer WoW ( What isnt bad with WoW's interface)

    Thanks for the suggestions!
