I check the ebgames.com web site every now and then, because they seem to have a release date for all the games. And it used to say September, and now it says November 15th...
mannn, ebgames really shouldnt be posting a release date, they dont have a clue? anyone know of any other sources of release dates? i won a spot in beta, but it hasn't started yet. supposedly before August 7th i get it, how long you think they'll test?

i dunno i just got back from ebgames and asked them when they would get the everquest 2 starter disk in..... they looked at me like i was stupid and said it wouldnt be out till november 16..................... the fools

The game won't even be close to releasing next week. They haven't even started beta testing yet. It will be out fall, if not later.

We checked with our EB Games store and they said to check with them Friday afternoon when their shipment will be coming in. We preordered about 1 month ago and they said we would get the first starter disks in.....we were their first pre orders for the game and ordered 8 copies of the Collectors Edition....no we aren't crazy....the whole family is playing......yayy!!!...a family project......

And as for uilwen, yes we all know its going to be pushed back, but if it is...then why does ebgames.com have the right to randomly post a BS release date? Theres no way they have any sources, and if they do...im pretty sure that their source wouldn't set a release date until it was prettymuch confirmed..

EB'S release dates are always off the target. There release date is ''around'' the time it will be coming out but ive seen alot of there stuff before come out like 1-2 months later then they say
I think they should just keep it as TBA. Instead of using a marketing scam and getting people excited. That and the fact they have changed their release date quite a bit, and quite frequently! Noone appreciates the lies, it just over-hypes people for no reason.
I like the idea of just having TBA (to be announced) written. Or even something like "End of 2004"

September '04 1% chance
October '04 20% chance
November '04 40% chance
December '04 30% chance
January '05 4% chance

This is going to be a family project....my hubby, 2 sons and their wives, my daughter and two sisters are all going to play along with friends.....we....lol.
Pushed back? The only official word that we have heard from SOE is that it will be out in 2004, so i wouldnt expect it until around December.... or Christmas.
Gamestop shows it coming in around November, but a few months ago they were showin Oct.....basicly, they dont know any more then we do so dont rely on them until an official word is released on the official site about the release month / day

Now i've heard of family picknicks, or even the odd family hockey or soccer tournament. But i have NEVER, in my entire life heard of a family MMORPG game. That is absolutely, positively, insanely, awesome! Wow! Congrats on that, your family rocks.... You guys all going to be good? or all be evil? oh man, start a guild with your last name! It will be a real guild! Family only...haha.
Im going into EQ with, hmm, i'de say one or two other buddies....but now you, You my friend, are truly something geniunely special.

We have actually started a guild....evil...Freeport....www.dragonsfolly.org which we have had a few people outside the family come by and join already (the adoption papers should be ready soon..lol).... we all have such a great time together...most of the family have played SWG and Horizons together, what a great time it is to have everyone get together and play. We will have a family name for family members, and we will play under the Dragons Folly guild name with the other great members we have aquired....how lucky is that.
