Everything in eve online can be done with a mouse as well.
Lotro everything can be done with the mouse as well, htough you can jump using the space bar it really isnt used except to be there for people who like to jump everyother step while running lol.
sword of the new world may work for him too, everything you absolutly need to do you can use the mouse for
thats a cple i can think of that might fair him well.

Scratch that on lotro, i forgot you do need to jump over some water when you do the horse quest i think.

I forgot about Eve. And to think I'm currently playing it....lol

Yes, Eve is a *very* good suggestion, that you and your brother can play. He can do mining, trading, manufacturing, run missions, pve, whatever. A good ship set up and he won't have problems. He can even assist pvp with all he can, and heck, he can make enough money to even afford lose a ship or 2 in pvp every now and then, so who cares if he's "fast" or not?

Eve and yep, Dofus (is the turned based MMO I had in mind), are good suggestions.

I 'd say go for Eve first because, well......it's a much better game imo.

    Kind regards,

Guild Wars is a very point-and-click friendly game, but I'm afraid he'll get far more frustrated with it than he did with WoW, considering the game has a lot faster paced combat.

I personally didn't like EVE, but it seemed maneuverable with the mouse. If that's his thing, then he should try it, but it might bore him.

If you really want to try a new venue you could try a game called A Tale in the Desert. It's pretty much a purely crafting game, so there's no need for him to be fast, yet it's challenging and competitive. The community is very tight-knit and social, so he'd have no problems making friends there. I'm pretty sure there's a free trial somewhere.

Also, I think Second Life is point and click if he just wants to socialize...?

i would pick Lineage2 over em but that's just my preference and since i don't like Eve's gameplay...

a good mouse for l2 would probly be Nostromo, im not sure how it work's but it should be able to auto assist, use potion's and such on it own's just bye setting it up it's also legal to use in Lineage2

http://www.l2guru.com/forum/showthread.php?t=65160&highlight=nostromos   here's a topic about how people set's it up but i have really no idea how it work's sry...

I didnt read the replysso forgive me  if this has already been sujested.

Now from what i get you need to find a MMO with can be worked from a mouse and doesant need fast accurate mouse movements.

Well i have 1 game that might fit.

EvE Online - This one is a point and click space trading combat simulator with the ability to set some good key binds for the more complexcommands like activating all 8 of your ships guns [assuming it has 8]. Standard way of doing this is by pressing F1 to F8 but this can be put into a simple one key activation with the right stuff.  Game wise it is very  involed too so should be quite entertaining.

If I had to recommend one I would say try EVE-online, If your brother can handle the game.  It can be totaly controlled with the mouse.

However, not everyone can handle EvE.  The learning curve is steep enough to make someone who's climbed Mt. Everest  cringe ,  but the game can be very rewarding if you have the patience for it.  That, and there is a free trail...ohhh, and unlimited PVP.

Thanks for all of the replies!  With so many recommendations I'm going to set up free trails for Guild Wars, Dofus, Lineage 2, EVE and see what he thinks (well, no free trial for Guild Wars but I'm gonna borrow it from a buddy).  I'll post again with updates.

I would try Shaiya.  It is a point and click game and also w,a,s,d (movement)  in addition it is F2P.  You could give it  a try would not hurt.  The open Beta will start any day now.  All you will have to do is just download the new OB client.

    http://shaiya.aeriagames.com/

It also has a RVR style PVP battlefields.  So your brother will not have to worry about PVP unless he goes to the battlefields.  I was in the closed beta, sure it has it faults but I did have a good time and I am waiting for the OB to start.  Thought I will probably  play it until AOC or War comes out but who knows I may just stick with it.  Also I was able to find a few buddies in the game and we started hunting/grouping together.

Let us know how it goes with yoru search.  Maybe if nothing appeals to him that was listed someone might come up with something that no one else thought of.  I guess you can make anything work with some specialized equipment.

I knew a fella who played SFC 3 that had some sort of similar condition. I forget exactly what it was. He just said he had something like  15 buttons on a custom mouse and an assortment of profiles to help him with his everyday computing and gaming.

Dungeon Runners (http://www.dungeonrunners.com/) is an amazing free MMO with an optional $5 a month membership (to use better items and a member only server) that good old-school Diablo style dungeon fun, click to move interface and a fair bit of slightly mature  humor! ( not offensive at all, relatively tasteful ) I think 12 sky (Aeria Games http://12-sky.aeriagames.com/) was click to move and it was enjoyable, RF online (http://www.rf-onlinegame.com/) was ok, but it's another  Lineage 2 clone with a Sci-fi twist =P and I am drawing a brain fart from there =/

I know I have played more games like that. I'll log into the ones I still have installed and see if I can throw a few more names at yas! =D Also, with the bigger name (pay to play) MMO's you could even re-map all the buttons in an area that is close together if that works! they even have gaming keyboards that let you make up your own macros and stuff! that might be an idea to look into as well!

i dont know if you would define it as a mmo, but travian (http://www.travian.com/) is free to play browser based city management game and is fairly addictive, is controlled mostly by mouse and you can form alliances with all ur buddies and go rampaging all over and kill peep's towns if that is your desire lol, i played it for a short time and really enjoyed it, but due to getting back into the P2P MMOs i just sort of drifted away from it, but it could be worth a try

Eve Online as mentioned before sounds like the best choice so far. I'm no one to criticize and that's not what I intend, but let's be honest that it's hard to play any MMO without applying keyboard commands, especially when it comes to communication. Maybe you've sorted that, maybe you haven't. If it doesn't work out I'd introduce him to some online chess or poker, a game that imposes a mental rather than motoric challenge.

I wish you happy christmas and all the best to your brother, hope he gets better.

I might get a warning for saying that but its well worth it in this case.  For those that need it to be pointed out to them. And I know theres gonna be quite a few of you all out there.

1.Look at what this thread is asking and the purpose behind it.

    2.Look at what he said.

If your brother does end up playing EvE online i'd be more than happy to give him a hand at getting everything under control ingame  :)

It can be a pretty ruthless game for beginners, but it's also very rewarding!
