If you define life as in sleeping and eating and lives. I guess that's what they are doing assuming they are still alive.
Anyway, P-lvling doesn't always works since a 75 whm or rdm is as good as dead if the team can't hold aggro or make any mistake pleveling a group of 60s. I have a 73 whm and i was almost killed in pleveling a 40s group.
Dedication+knowledge of the game+linkshell that helps by rotating the party members as needed so xp/hour are being kept steady = max level.
I don't understand the "no life" card many people use. Unless people that use it, define it as "social life" thing which again in most of the cases it's still a non issue since each person is happy with different things altogether.
The guy instead of spreading 100 hours or so to level at 75 during a couple of months to max his job, he chose to do it in a week. I don't think it's that big of an issue since all that is needed is a good flow of xp and members that know their thing and are well prepared.
And a wrongfei mentioned earlier, such guys with their passion of their hobby do very good for the community in general by finding faster the more effective method of levelling. Which long term helps all others.
Life is what it is.
A friend is not him who provides support during your failures.A friend is the one that cheers you during your successes.
Here's how i did it... didn't have many friends that played long hours so i bought some...dished out 3mil(100k an hour) for a rdm75 to PLVL (best power lvlers because of refresh and convert and stoneskin to tank)
He powerlvled me for 3 days, 10hours each day...that got me to lvl50, of course I had DD parties all along the way after lvl10, usually i'd invite rangers, samurais and black mages
after lvl50, i got another healer, now i had a white mage and redmage healing, both lvl75, paying them each 100k an hour. I got to lvl60 in another 2 days because I was playing a little less and of course there is alot of exp needed...plus the lvl cap quests..
then on 6th day i hit 63 and gave up..because on that day i had run out of money.... lol.. Keep in mind I did this during my college's final's week lol...i was exempt from all finals, all my friends had to study and there were alot of cops to keep people not studying quiet and behaved lol
So I had plenty of time
I had more but couldn't spend anymore on PLVLing cuz afterall, gear starts to get expensive at that level(im very picky, need SH and all the best gear to be satisfied)
So i understand that it is possible for this dude to do what he did, all he had to do was have a previous lvl75, and that would save HOURS and HOURs because of the lvl-cap being already completed ^.^ (only have to do once per character)
People say "get a life", but before you can recommend getting a life, why don't you try defining "life"..
Is "getting laid" having a life?
Perhaps earning straight A's and graduating on the Deans list is having a life?
Maybe even becoming a pro football player is having a life?
Just because this guy made this game his life doesn't give anyone the right to judge his life..
I find HIS situation more acceptable and understandable than all those dumbasses over there in the "holy lands" killing each other over some man made prophecy..
Other than that, all you can say is wow... Can't really say that he's good because there is really not much skill involved here.. But he does have alot of time to dedicate to the game which is his business...
