21 Day Return...Does It Actually Work?

I got my annual 'please come back' email a few days ago. It said my account was reactivated for 21 days, so I could see the changes to the game. I actually downloaded all the software to check it out...what the heck, it's free, right?
Of course it doesn't work. Whenever I tried to log in, the launcher stated I didn't have a subscription...but would I like to purchase one? 
Er...no...
I tried to get ahold of someone from customer support, but no joy...
Suggestions?

This was mentioned on the official boards since many of the remaining players, who have inactive alternate accounts, also received the e-mail and cannot activate those alternate accounts. I suspect there are vets who are experiencing the same issues if they are bothering to attempt to activate the trial for another look at SWG. I have yet to read (or missed it entirely) any official word on how this issue will be addressed. Oh, yeah....good luck with customer support.

I just heard about the vet trials earlier this year, never got a letter, and the game just worked for me again.
Not this time, though. Tried logging in and got the "you are not subscribed" popup.
BTW, on one of my accounts last round, I only got 14 days, not 21.
CH, Jedi, Commando, Smuggler, BH, Scout, Doctor, Chef, BE...yeah, lots of SWG time invested.

I found in my previous trials I'd get my invite a few days later then some. As it's been a few days now maybe SOE has finally wisened up that I'm not coming back.
I guess 63 days this year for free was enough for me
Many times they ask me to come back. Every time I ask them if the NGE is still there, every time the answer is yes. So every time my answer is FU, I won't be coming back.
The response to my ticket on this issue was it will be passed up the ladder to a senior CSR. So something is being done about it. Clearly the vet's trial is bugged.
It's SOE.

That's too funny. SOE and SWG, a lesson in how NOT to run an MMO.
