Tell me your most and least favorite mmos. Remember to tell us all why you like/dislike them.
I just started Tabula Rasa and i love it. The game play and combat sytem is awesome. The game looks awesome to. I despise Shadow bane. It looks horrible and it just sucks.
I also love Maplestory cause i love to kill random stuff.

Eve because of the pvp. in the end a good solid PvP community is the only thing in any game that keeps it from being the same thing over and over...
Take a game like EQ2.. They put out an expansion and give you 10 more levels and new spells.. Most of the spells are just upgrades of previous spells... and the new raids are 10 levels harder.. If you can focus and see it through your really not getting better... Your busting your butt for the new levels which makes your old Fabled raid gear useless for the most part.. and most of your old spells are useless and have been replaced with new spells that share the same timer... same icon and same graphic as the previous and you do all this so you can raid the new mobs to get new gear which pound for pound is no better than the old stuff... its 10 levels higher but so are you and so are the mobs... YOU DON"T GAIN ANYTHING!

Most favorite: DAoC - Nothing has come close to the feeling of large scale team based PvP (RvR) that this game had pre-ToA. Relic raids with all 3 sides involved were trully epic.
Least favorite: Vanguard - Joined at release and the game was horribly unfinished and empty. I plan to try it out again in the future.
MMOs Played: EQ 1&2, DAoC, SWG, Planetside, WoW, GW, CoX, DDO, EVE, Vanguard, TR

I like EQ (pre lucin) and I loved DAoC but I dispise Guild Wars its community is sooo childish!

I hated maplestories god awful horrible community and the extreme grind, oh and that joke of a PQ system too

maple stories community are full of obnoxious kiddies and jackasses, which wouldn't be so bad if you didn't have to fight over grinding spots and PQ spots. If you find anyone who isn't an obnoxious kid or a gangsta wanna be, then consider yourself lucky

haha no, you're only level 16. I played up to level 43, and 90% of the people I've run into are loud annoying idiots, and kids who buy backwards hats and bling bling chat windows to show off how hardcore they were.
If you continue to play, have fun grinding for 10 hours a day to get anywhere while having people come along and take your spot regardless of who was there first or not

Well whatever, I still stand by my opinion that maplestory has one of the worst communities in any online game ever. Selfish, loud, obnoxious, rude, and just overall terrible. Not to say that I haven't made some great friends in the game, they were the only reason why I played so long, but other than that the masses were just horrid.
When did you last play.
Favourite : CoH/CoV for the sheer versatility of the char creation and classes. It was my first MMO and a great introduction to the genre. This game also introduced me to the social aspect of MMO's. I made some good friends through this game who i am still in touch with even now years after i started playing it.
Least favourite : World of Warcraft. I hate the style of graphics, i'm a big reader of fantasy books and the visuals i create in my mind when reading are certainly not that of cartoons. The biggest turn off for me with that game was the community. The forums were jam packed with idiots that have no idea of the meaning of the respect. I gave the game 2 days of my life to try and get into it thinking there must be something great about it if so many people play it. Unfortunately the majority of the people i met ingame were identical to the idiots on the forums. Uninstalled and will never try again.
I actully played CoV
Favorite: EQ 1 pre-Planes of Power.
Worst: EvE or LotR. Very different games from style to genre, both are on extreme opposite ends.
Favorite game I never really played: SWG.
