Looking for realm vs reallm..........faction vs faction game ?

I played DAOC for over 5 years and haven't found anything to match the fun of that game. But after 5+ years and Mythic's unrelenting class changes I want to move on. Asian game have seemed to offer hope..but only if you are willing to give up a year of your life to endless grinding and extraordinary equippment prices.GW combat is too programmed .

Has anyone found a great game  that has RVR  or faction vs faction that one can actually participate in ....in a reasonable ammount of time.Or do we all just wait for WAR....AOC......AION....ot whatever ?

    if you like the faction v faction stuff then i could recomend RFonline its also F2P now, when it first came out i bought a copy and loved the pvp aspect of it as it is RvRvR where 2 realms can gang up on a third if it gets too powerfull and there is scope for a lot of realm backstabbing, it was also fast and furious pvp, and the leveling dont take forever, i got to level 40 within a month which is a good time to pvp (though when i played everyone was starting in the early levels at the same time so pvp was every day from day 1)  the bad points that i found from back then was there was no content from 45+ so i quit, just recently downloaded it and made a free account and it looks much like it did way back when :) also its quite grindy as u get quests automaticly as you level and its basicly kill XX of YY monster till u ding then u kill ZZ monster instead, but there is no harm in giving it a try (if u goto the the download link posted on the official site it will tell you that you have to be a gamespot gold member, but there are other sites that host the client like gamershell for e.g. hope i have helped and if u do give it a try let me know what u think by PM or somthing

    Soooo..Adder..seems like  mixed thoughts on RF. Guess I will see what others think.Thanks for the help.

    I personally didn't feel like grinding RF but I have heard people say that if you can make it to 40+, it is very fun pvp for whatever that is worth.

    RF Online. It's a little wierd when you first enter it and still have some bugs etc, but it's not that bad. It's not like WoW or any other US type of MMO.

    It's now free to download and free to play. My suggestion is to try it out.

    It will take time to lvl up (skills etc) but the game becomes more and more fun. Even at lvl 30 the game open up new doors for you.

    The population is great, I have not been at any place where I get the feeling that the game is dead. Something I got when I came back to SWG and AO for example.

    RF Online also have a Space expansion coming. I think Korea have it now and I'm sure US/EU will get it with time.

    If you like Anime's like Gundam etc then you will enjoy RF Online even more.

    Try it out, it's free so if you don't like it then you didn't pay anything. =)
