It all depends. With factions you unlock more fun PvP options. While Nightfall has more in game content, more of a story, and overrall more players on that side of the world.

Well, i saw them all in one of my local stores for only £9.99 each, so at that price you may aswell get them both and have all the options open to you

That is a pretty good deal Lone...I still have not scene Nightfall below $29.99 USD and Factions below $19.99.  Still $50 for both is a great investment towards your entertainment...I got 2800 hours+ from the whole lot.  Which I realize is 117 days worth of playtime, so 4 months out of the past three years you could find me playing GW.

Actually on the current exchange rate, $19.99 IS £9.99 (ish)

and I've just topped 6,200 hours myself too, so moving into EvE online more with the corp and letting guild officers run Guild Wars for me as EvE officers help me get our Station up and running and get into Low sec properly

Yeah last year when I was in Europe is was about $1.86 Euro's to $1.00 USD and like 2.10 British Pounds to $1.00 USD.  So like you said about the same but still a little less when applied to NF.

Let me know how you end up liking EvE, for me it was a toss up between that and LOTRO and I went with LOTRO because A) I am a fan B) $10 on Black Friday C) $10/mo.  EvE peaked my interests though and I was reading the forums here.

Been on EvE since February and love it, I'll send you a trial invite and help you get started if your interested

EvE = Free to start, no box needed, you just top up the trial account you make with a timecard and it updates to a full account and you carry on...  and its $35 for 90 days I believe (about £20)
