Will this apply to people who had a beta account, but never actually purchased the game? Or only those who had an actual retail key?
Sadly, I don't think it will, which is odd considering we're probably the largest group they would want to try and get back. I know I had a trial account during the initial release/pre-release period and it is still currently listed as inactive.

It was pretty frustrating having to wait throughout the day for them to finally flag the accounts but at least it is done and I am downloading the patches as we speak.
Is it still true that the trial is extended for an extra 15 days because of todays mishap?
Since I sold my box, I'm SOL, right? Still says I don't have a subscription.

i cant log in yet but i went to look at my station account and it shows that the game planetside was activated today until 1/20/08. think they will catch this or should i shoot em an email? Anybody else have this issue?

Haven't played since around June and the very first thing I will be looking for is the change in performance. How is the population like after the server merges anyway?
Vanguard is still shown as closed on my account.
Interesting that EQ1 is showing "pending", not sure what is up with that as I not played EQ1 in years.

looks like roughly 3hrs from dvd install.
If this game has been fixed as much as people say, I do plan on resubbing.

Yeah I would like to try it again. I have quite a bit of time before any other MMO I'm interested in comes out, and if things really did change for the better, I would definately pick it up for a few months.

yeah, mine is reactivated, if they did change it, and made the performance better, i will probably resub, but we will see. Now that its reactivated, anyone got a good idea for what server i should play on, preferrably a well populated one.
im sorry vanguard drove you to selling your box...:P , but no actually unless you sold your acct ( cough illegal ) then yes you can play just borrow the CD's, which i suggest , dowload it , or download the launcher client , the acct you used login and password will be what matters.
