- How hard is it to level up these days? I remember it being a grind before XP chains.

you can lvl fast now because of buff bots in an allegiance, join an allegiance that has a 24/7 buff bot. This way you can lvl up fast as a newb. It's a grind but you kill everything fast. Once you lvl yourself to around 70 you can macro lvl real fast. Great game!
