Huxley or Tabula Rasa?

I'm tossing up between the both of them. It'll probably be a case of which comes out first. Im a fan of both of them to be really honest. What do you guys think?

i don t know much about huxley , but i played tabula rasa beta and its not that what i expected after more the 6 years development.

I played the Tabula Rasa beta, and it wasnt that great. Dont get me wrong its not bad, but it wont even compare to Huxley.
Of course it can't compare, Tabula Rasa is in beta and is definitely coming out, and Huxley IMHO is still vapor.
hard to find alot of information on Huxley. But it seemes to be going more towards PvP and TR seems to be PvE.
They are both 2 different games, one is MMORPG (TR) and other is claiming to be a MMOFPS (Huxley), to my knowledge the only game worthy of the name MMOFPS is "Planetside"
To be honest i dont think Huxley will be on a massive scale like Planet side is. Heard it was all instanced and capped.
But hey if anyone gets into beta fill us in and let us know.

I played the Tabula Rasa beta and it was good but not the best. Right now I'm leaning towards Huxley. Also if you want info visit the official forums of huxley which is huxleyversus.com Closed beta will be starting very soon. On August 29th, the first 999 players to register will get access to the official closed beta testing which will last for 5 days.

If it's true FPS, it will differ greatly from Tabula Rasa, which is just the Star Wars Galaxies NGE with a graphics improvement and lobotomized crafting. Also, no PVP is allowed by the storyline as it stands right now ... so am immediately unimpressed.
It's not what I was expecting from a Richard Garriot production, but I've also come to understand that he's really just a paid figurehead. If you look closely at the trademarks and copyrights all over their site, you'll notice that NC Interactive lays claim to all the intellectual properties, including the logo and name of the developer, Destination Games.
Eh, I can't really say what huxley will be like. It's tough to speculate, TR's beta is fun, but it's not entirely a FPS, it's 3rd person first of all. I do really like NCsoft though, I've never played a game of theirs I didn't like, and they update their games regularly and listen to the community pretty well. I'm gunna play TR until Huxley comes out and then we'll see if everything holds up.

You call this SWG with a graphics update!? I can still change my nose size to Pinnoccio in SWG, and I can be 10ft tall...Can't do that in TR, and this is only #22 on my list for thinking SWG is still better (and it sucks).
Played (more than a month): SWG, Second Life, Tabula Rasa, Lineage 2, Everquest 2, EvE, MxO, Ryzom.
Tried: WoW, Shadowbane, Anarchy Online, Everquest, WWII Online, Planetside
Beta: Lotro, Tabula Rasa, WAR.
Huxley is a MMOFPS. Its a true fps. TR isn't a true FPS. Gameplay will be mush faster paced in HUxley too since it is a true FPS. Huxley is going to be cool just because ita a MMOFPS in a consistent world. Already looks more fun than TR.
TB sucks, and From what I hear about huxley, it's also going to suck. Neither stray from the bullshit grindfest type of MMO.
Well since Tabula Rasa is released and there's no release in sight for huxley... I'd go with tabula rasa.

As much as I want to like Huxley I'm enjoying myself completely in Tabula Rasa. I played planetiside, I played SWG Pre CU. TR is more like planetside in feel than SWG. Is it like SWG because it's third person? and sci-fi?
If you read about TR yes it is mostly PvE at the moment but the devs have stated that the next year will be more focused towards expanding the PvP aspects of the game. Possibly including Clan controlled CPs ( Capture Points ) which are bases that shift control from Bane (bad) to AFS (good)
Crafting admittedly sucks in TR but they've said it's being worked on. Right now it's main form is creating paints for your armor, and at later levels modding your weapons and armor.
As far as there being no PvP.. yes there is. It's in the form of Clan warfare. Clan wars are agreed upon between clan leaders and last for 7 days. In which anyone in the opposing clans can attack each other if they are within the set level ranges ( = no high level ganking.)

I really like Tabula Rasa. Ive played em all since the early 80's. I was so disapointed in Planetside and the weak innaccurate weapons. Such large maps but the combat stuck to one small area where your team would run in front of you to hit the enemy causing you to get penalized for shooting them. Tabula Rasa has great weapons and effects. Ya hit the enemy with your shotgun and watch the blowback. Yea people say Tabula Rasa Sucks but I wonder what games those people do like? Everyone complains about games like I did with planetside and SWG. But I really like most I play and really like TR. I will check out Huxley for sure but until its out what else is there to play with modern guns and weapons where ya point and shoot instead of press buttons and hope your skill level does the job? Yea TR is not a true FPS in that respect but what is in the mmo world right now? Oh Face of Mankind? What happened to that?

huxley mos def...tabula rasa has too much of a military feel plus auto-aiming = not fps.
Huxley all the way...tabula rasa isn't trully an fps...huxley seams exactly like most fps's out already only that this time your character grows and instead of a wimpy 24 players per server you get thousands in a vast battleground.
Been waiting for Huxley since I first heard about it a year ago. However I am currently playing Rasa and am having a blast. I'm not to much into grinding and Rasa has a great quest system. Most the time when I level its a bit of a suprise because I get so into the quests and there stories that I forget about leveling. I read an article about Huxley that said after the initial excitement wears off Huxley becomes another grind fest. See that its not out yet I'll probably be inclined to at least try it to see for myself. But for now Rasa is holding my interest and is designed around us who have less and less time to play.
Huxley will be really good but best ever mmofps game will always be neocron as it is the 1st ever to come out.

Will give Huxley an try, but I will defintily not play TR. However comparing an unreleased game with an released game is hard.
Huxley is vaporware for the US at least.
