So , is it just me or dose this army seem more appealing in looks and class roles ?
so why do you want to play as a dark elf ?
to me , they fit the bill in what i want in a elf, twisted evil emo goth sephiroth running around , ruleing everything they want and, then maxing out the credit cards to say , WE WANT MORE STUFF TO KILL !!!!!!
so how about you ?

I always liked playing the dark elves and evilish races. Why be a good guy all the time? I can do that every day.
As far as why I picked dark elf over the others...I'm not playing yet, game isn't released...so I didn't really pick anything yet.

I personnaly don't really care about the race athough I do dislike the Orks and the Dwarfs. What I'm looking for is pretty much all the four archetypes the game has to offer cuz I'm usually able to modify my gameplay to fit in, have fun and be good with any of them.
The thing with the dark elves though, is that imo, their armor and gear look really nice and their specifics careers are simply more appealing to me those of any other race.
I'm definitly getting a sorcerer first and then I'll see but if the game is as good as most ppl think it will, I'll make all four dark elve career unless they screw them up with the mechanics

I command a Dark Elf army with the table top game so choosing this class was obvious. I'm such a big Dark Elf fan my license plate s DRK ELF 1
And if you guys want some awesome dark elf lore pick up the Malus Darkblade series has some awesome evil dark elf treachery and torture.
The gothic dark look gives Dark Elves an exotic, yet powerful aura. Like they radiate with dark energy, daring any to oppose them. Sadly enough, they are aligned with Greenskins and Chaos, so I probably won't play them. If I was a Dark Elf, I wouldn't want to ally myself with the savage looking Greenskins, or the abomonation that the Chaos race is.

Preferred Playstyle: Roleplay/adventurous, in a sandbox game.
Of course they're more appealing....mostly to the younger crowd though. To them, they're evil dark ninja samurais who can stealth and do ultra dark blast back stab sneaky sneaky ninja attack. Plus, they have omega kool spike armor that looks so rad and evil! And to top it off, they're the only race (besides the Elves on the "Light" side), that has a stealth class. Sigh, I can't wait to see how stacked the elves are going to be on retail with the amount of kids who are going to play that.
Edit : Forgot to mention Legolas! Its like being an EVIL Legolas!

I wager that the dark elves will be a very popular race choice. Perhaps the most popular. IM sure when I loged in I will easily find groups with characters named Drizzt456 and Lloth90.

Although many people of all walks of life will want to play this race, it should be understood that there is absolutely NO STEALTH CLASS IN WAR. If you wish to debate this fact their is ample opportunity on this forum through other postings.
I do agree with you, their will be many younger people who will find the Dark Elves appealing and we will all see "Sephiroth" running around in about a hundred different spelling variations.
Did you read the last one yet? I think it's suppose to be out..I haven't had a chance to go see if I can find it yet.

There might be alot of Malekith's as well for those of you who dont know Warhammer lore he is the dark elf king
Speaking of naming In my past two mmo's i'v played dwarfs so i cant reuse old names i got to come up with something new. Dwarfs were easy to name Talidar, Targrim, Torgar........TROGDOR.
