What games(s) support rather than detract from trying to play your character as race.
What I mean is:
- a world where faction matters. I mean MATTERS. I also don't want to see the devs modifying the game to "balance the game" by eliminating faction requirements. Vanguard just tweaks the Celestine Ward quests si evil races can get teh quests as easily as good. I HATE this.
- I loved way back when evil and good races had limitations on grouping and even language.
- I loved the old Velious factions from EQ1
- I want limited trevel mechanisms to there will be localized economies (like EQ1 before the corruption).
- I'd like to run into other RPers and not be harrassed by the "new" masses that seem to think that those of us that grew up with RPG are the ones that are wrong.
Is there a game and a set of devs that still believe some of the above? I used to think it was VG, but I don't anymore. They only care about the WoW crowd.

i hate to say it but the only game with anything like that is wow. you cant talk to the alliance if your horde and you need to learn the languages and such and you cant party horde if your alliance but other then that theres nothing in my knowledge
